I own it, its a Batman movie. Im not afraid of things like owning a movie.

I believe you're thinking of "Batman Begins". As "Batman Beyond" also known sometimes as "Batman of the Future" was an animated series that was set in the future. It has Bruce Wayne but not as Batman but the mentor of him. Who is called Terry McGuiness I believe.

you mean "FREEZE in hell!". :oldrazz: :cwink:

actually, come to think of it, i liked ahnulds " FREEZE IN HELL, BAAAATMAAAAN!" it was pretty intense for what would normally be a corny line.

It's more like, "Freeze in hell, Batmun!!"

I own the vhs. I`m going to get it on dvd one day. When i have the money. No reaaaallly i am dying to buy it again. :whatever:

Do they have the anthology in Britain? Just curious.

I personally think every bat-fan should own atleast 1 copy of it. It's a pretty big part of Bat-history.

my question is, how could a batfan NOT enjoy this movie in one way or another? its hysterical, the villians were great and funny as always, at least Freeze is. ahnuld is the #1 reason to own this movie. and bane was so hystericaly bad. the special effects and visual effects are amazing, even with all the silly colors and stuff. and just love the batcave, and cmon even the batmobile was pretty rad. the oneliners are brilliantly bad. its so bad, its good.

Yeah its like a Batman parody/spoof

Batman & Robin is the most widely seen unpopular movie ever. Everybody has seen it. One could say, "Try watching Return of Swamp Thing" or "Steel", but that's a short conversation as a) few people have seen them and b) they are not about characters with the same popularity as Batman.

i have the VHS tape, it think its broken now...thank god

I have the VHS of Batman & Robin, which was bought for me years ago. I don't know why I don't have a copy on DVD...

...Oh yeah, that's why.

I do not intend to buy a copy on DVD, Blu-ray, HD-DVD or anything else ever.

for a film that nobody likes, a lot of ppl sure talk about it alot, even 10 years later. it had its merits. it was memorably bad i guess. its better then being memorably boring i suppose.

The only reason Batman and Robin was funny is because of Ahnold. He alone saved this movie, aswell as Michael Gough's fantastic performance.

BTW Can someone upload the best Alfred scenes from B&R onto youtube? Thanks.

yeah i agree, arnold and gough were the only good ones that made the film worth watching. that and the special effects. i mean, everything in this movie was so extravagent, so out of this world, a feast for the eyes. well, except the butt closeups. batgirl's butt i didnt mind.

Apparently the poll maker didn't make enough options.

I got it on VHS tape when it came out....and then when it came out as a one disc DVD many years ago. I would have liked to have picked up all the first four modern Batman movies when they came out as special edition 2 disc DVDs....but a combination of hating double dipping and lack of money prevailed. Someday I will probably get the special editions.
