i'm sorry, but the Chris Reeve still owns that sign-off.

maybe because Routh's version was too quick or too dark. but dammit on the next movie i want him to have his own sign-off . besides, why couldnt SR have ended with Routh doing the flyby at the camera then flying into the sunset? that was a great shot, just use the real guy next time and not the obvious CG creation.

I agree. I've seen Robo's somewhere. Bad Supes and Bond would be so cool. Bond's should be blonde like Daniel Craig. That should p@ss some people off.

I'd have liked it if he smiled. He didn't - and the whole thing felts somewhat pointless. Yet another 'homage' that serves no real purpose for the audience except to feel nostalgic.

I don't think that he smiled. Didn't look that way to me. If that's the case then they've recreated a shot and taken away all of the charm of the shot. What's the point to reshooting something only making it less interesting?

I agree with what drmyles said. The big smile was the charm of that shot. If the wow factor was superman above the earth, then we got that in 10 other shots in the movie.
