Donny does machines? Well, I don't blame him. He's a mutated turtle who doesn't have a chance in the world with a human chick.

ive done three so far, Leo (probly the one you didnt like), Raph (which i think is the best of the 3 so far), and this one.

Well what can I say. He's great and probably my favorite Turtle. Though I'm not sure. In the past I always like Raphael a lot.

I didn't like the fact that donny was too jokey in the first movie. That was the movie's only real flaw, because he was just Mikey's 'buddy'.

From time to time, you see him looking at a book or a machine part, or show compassion, but he was like Mike Number 2.

As much as I don't like Part 2, I do like how they handled Donny and his intelligence. It gives him more to do.

I feel the same way man. Im surprised they "paired" mike/don as the humorous ones and leo /raph as the harder ones It came off a bit uneven.
While I haven't seen the 2nd film in like 10 yrs, I like the scene where he talks to splinter about the fact their creation is accidental and what their purpose in life was. it was kinda brief, but interesting.

I liked the chemistry between Mike and Don in the first movie. The scene where the hide in the kitchen while Leo and Raph fight speaks volumes not only of the closeness of Mike and Don, but also the temperment of Raph while around Leo. Granted, Don wasn't portrayed as the genius he was in the cartoons, but the first movie was heavily derrivitive of the comic book. In the comic Donny was more of a handy man than a genius who spends time building demensional portals. I thought Donny in the third movie was a nice blend of wit and the smart version of Donny. I think one scene of Donatello in the first movie talking about an invention or working on something would have done better for characterization, but I didn't mind seeinf Donny's goofey side at all. Remember Leo, Don, Mike, Raph, they are all warriors, they are saviors, they are all deep and complex, but they are all 15 years old and prone to being a kid at times. Even the brainy Donatello.
