Its not a film i can watch over again the only memorable part was the doomsday fight which was quite short mask of the phantasm is still DC only good animated movie. and on the subject of other dc animated movies why havent we seen any of Wonderwoman Martian manhunter etc? its as if DC has no faith in any of thier characters to do well except Bats and supes and i for one am getting a little bored of seeing them over and over.

Btw the voice acting for Superman is superb. The attempt at making his face look chiseled kinda made him appear wrinkled though. Stylistic choice I'm just not used too in the animation realm. Lex feels slightly off, and partly because we are all used to his persona through S:TAS and JL. He's a little more slight in figure and voice is a bit less confident/commanding imo. Lois feels a tad younger than she should imo, but still decent. In some ways feels like a departure because we are used to 100's of episodes from former TAS efforts.
I'm sure I will watch this again though. It was a good story overall imo.

DC AND Marvel disappoint me when it comes to drawing character design & background details. Doomsday the avengers, iron man, doctor strange they were all disappointment. I want something like ghost in the shell. Take your time to do it right!

I agree. Since it looks like they are producing entertainment more geared to young adults, the should place more emphasis on the artwork. I will forgive them now, since the are supposedly bringing up a new group of animators being (so called) mentored by Bruce Timm, but I (an others) will expect better (more Japanese anime quality) artwork in future videos.

A Japenese manga stlye feature lentgh cartoon of Batman would be amazing you know they wont shy away from showing the more grusome parts of the comics in all there glory.

I actually found the ultimate avengers 1 animation film better then S/D also the final battle between hulk and the avengers is far supeior to the doomsday/superman one.

I would agree, but keep in mind. It doesn't seem like DC was intending for this film to be major. It's basically those small dvd release projects.

Having it done in extreme detail like a manga film would be labor intensive, more planning and obviously a larger budget. It would pretty much be a film that they would rather release in a theater . I doubt they really wanted to put that much money into these small animated releases.

I do agree after watching this left me with mixed feelings. It did seem rush in some sections, especially Supes funeral. I mean they could of added a couple of characters during that moment. They made it seem only Metropolis residents attended his funeral, it made it seem insignificant.

I think they should've also added a couple of other heroes. Like members of the league and some other random heroes to get killed by Doomsday. And I also agree that Superman's funeral was rather disappointing. It was definitely handled better in the Justice League cartoon.
