I got literal goosebumps hearing Dafoe’s iconic laugh and seeing the bomb!

It sounded more gruff and distorted than the 2002 film.

Well Dafoe is older, so it makes sense his voice sounds gruffer.

Guy has such a recognizable voice. And Raimi designs are so iconic there is no doubt who was being teased.

Not that I'm complaining about Dafoe returning, really looking forward to it! But if we're already getting other character returns, would've been nice to get new characters that we haven't seen yet.

I think Feige would have vetoed any use of Franco at the point this was in production.

what I love about this is that the design is 100% the same as the older movies, but the CG tech has advanced so much that it just looks way more polished, but still the same!

Ganke er..THAT iteration of Ned wouldn’t become the Hobgoblin… heck he’d honestly be more like Harry’s Green Goblin than the Hobgoblin.

I’m really excited to see Dafoe pull off his hammy Gobby again.

Ugh it pains me to agree with this. Ok I'm going to go on a Flash Thompson rant which everyone is free to ignore.

[Rant]If there's one major nag I have about the movies its that none of them have gotten Flash 100% right. Flash is one of Peter's most compelling relationships and frankly his redemption from bully to one of Peter's closest friends really fits the themes of Peter's struggles. Add to the fact that out of all of Peter's friends, Flash was always non-judgemental and was there to lift Peter and vice versa. I mean it's stunning to me none of the films felt he should be an important character. They were on track in ASM1 but ditched him in ASM2. The MCU is utilizing him but he's incredibly miscast (and I LOVE Tony Revolori in everything else I've seen him in). It's just I feel like we're never going to get a proper Flash Thompson over the course of 8 solo movies and it deflates me everytime.[/rant]

Anyway did anyone notice Flash dyed his hair blond in the trailer?

I can't wait to see Goblin... I love this character, he's a Marvel's Joker, unpredictable and sinister. I think he will get a new suit in the second half of the movie, but he could use the old one in the beginning.

I'd love it if they went one further and he loses his power ranger battle suit entirely, opting instead for a halloween costume of a goblin.
