I'm just now reading the character bios on the DA 2 website. Wow, so Fenris is Wolverine. Like, even calling him a "thinly veiled" Wolverine is pushing it. He is totally Wolverine.

lol, wow... he IS Wolverine.

Ugh, chose Jowan to enter the Fade to atone for his wrong doings... Mistake. Should have had Morrigan go in as her Cone of Cold would have wiped out everything.... easily.

My Mage went in and settled for some Desire Demon booty. Then I reloaded my save and defeated her properly. :o

Going into The Fade at all was your first mistake. :o

I suspect the demo is a much earlier build, probably the one they were showing off at some of the gaming events during last year.

Is that another DX11 issue? I remember someone mentioning there was a known issue with DX11 that BioWare already confirmed is fixed in the retail game.

So, I see early buyers of DA2 get extra dlc.
Really? What? I pre-ordered, but more because I was absolutely sure I would be buying the game way back when it was first announced than because I wanted extra stuff. But I'll still take the extra stuff. :awesome:

Right? At first, I was like, "Oh, that's cool, he's got lyrium bound into his skin." Then I got to the amnesia part and I was like, "Waaaaait..." :funny:

Yeah that was me, I was confused as to why my framerate wasn't super smooth since I just brought a video card about a week ago with DX11 support. I don't know if his issue is related but I'm sure it won't be in the main game.

Wouldn't surprise me if BioWare basically used the demo as a means of fixing problems with the engine in time for release.

Website says something about a magic mirror and a warhound.

Yeah and it's nameable but not a companion, you summon him into combat and he disappears when out of combat, so win-win all the way.

Good. Terrible waste to have a whole party slot dedicated to the doggy in the first game, but I liked him.

Angus was one of my most used characters in the first game. My most hated was the Elf Assassin... I get that some people found him funny... but... No. Hated him.

I rarely used him, but I let him bone two of my characters. Ruined one character's relationship with Leliana, but it was totally worth it. :awesome:

crashes after character creation everytime. No matter what setting. Apparently it's a known issue for most people.
Have you tried running it in windowed mode? I crashed once after character creation, then crashed once during prologue gameplay. Then I set it to windowed mode and completed it three times.

So, clearly, it's not a matter of the PC demo breaking and crashing after character creation everytime no matter what setting. Unless I'm the only person this has not been the case for, and all other 1,000,000+ downloads have been tainted.

No, the sky is not falling either.

I don't think I hated a single one of the DAO companions. And I love Zevran so, so much.

"We are so ridiculously awesome."

I hate the dude so much that after he ambushed me and lay unconscious... I knifed him, lol. I don't even want to run the risk of running into him in any future DA games.

And I'm playing it all Mr. Nice Guy like.

Well i don't mean to ruin your Nice guy style, believe me you aren't at all but Zevrian's past shows that he was a ****e's child and since childhood a slave assassin to the Crows, hence why he was willing to change allegiences to you, but well if you don't go friends with him, he will backstab you again.
:awesome:

I just did the same thing. I'm playing as a Mage, and I wanted him to allow his old friend to redeem himself. Boy was that a mistake...:csad:

Jowan is more than capable. You just have to make good use of Drain Life.

I played the demo 3 more times tonight, once with each class. Super-fun. I heart it muchly. Why isn't it next week already so I can play the full game and give Hawke a giant bald pimple for a head and stuff? :csad:
