Dragon Age 3

Don't open if you haven't completed "And Here Lies the Abyss"

One thing is clear to me, I made a mistake making Alistair king. I thought he was the leader Ferelden needed but I think his place was with the Wardens.

I always had him with Anora, wouldn't Anora ensure Alistair's best qualities? I can't have Alistair with the Wardens without my main man Loghain dying, perhaps Alistair deserves drunk life?

I hope this is the hardest choice I had to make. I chose Loghan over Hawk kept the Wardens around. Still not sure how I feel about it. But I'll own it. A shame Warden Bethany was never mentioned. I'm now currently at the Ball trying to prevent an assassination, and I'm failing hard at it. :cmad: Damn these mask wearing A-holes

I think Hawke staying at the Fade is better, because i feel Hawke has more chance at survival, but that depends on Bioware alone.

Loghain is going to be the leader of the Grey Wardens for me apparently haha, it's gonna be sweet.

I really hope Dragon Age 4 is about Nevarra, Tevinter and the Qunari. Have the main character as a Tevinter slave.

Just finished completing all my Keep stuff! I'm really having to read up a lot since I didn't play the first two games. But I can't wait to start this.

I recruited the Mages on my 2nd play through now, i have to say the Alexius boss fight was much more thrilling, the whole quest was just incredibly engaging and i loved it.
I made the Mages as my prisoners afterwords. >:)

That's what I've done in my play through as well. They seemed to have taken the situation well. Well, better than I would have thought anyway.

On another note. Elves with French accents. An unusual fit.

Solas and Blackwall lose all respect for you however, i noticed that from Haven.

I have a question. Would it be easy to get into this game not having really played the first 2? I tried the first one for a bit but didn't feel it was for me. 2nd as well.

Is anyone here playing as a normal human? (Rogue, Warrior) I would assume that character would be more accepted as the "Herald of Andraste"

after many starts and restarts, I've finally settled on playing a Human Female Warrior and a Human Female Mage for my 2 main playthroughs.

I haven't played the first two, and I'm really into this game now. Make sure you do the Keep stuff online. Because that will get you caught up on the story of the first two. And read this article. It will help a lot.

yes. you should be able to get into this game without having played 1 and 2 ( though it would help ).

as Quasi said, make sure to do the Keep before you start DAI. if you need to look up the decisions from the Keep, just hit the Dragon Age Wiki page:

Great. So I jump on that flash sale that is going on now on the psn and get the digital deluxe edition of dragon age inquisition. I try to boot the game up and all I get once I see the first image is an error message. Every single time I try to boot it up the same message. Wtf.

^^ did you try uninstalling and reinstalling it?

Yea several times. It seems I got it working now but only because I didn't dl all the extra stuff that game with deluxe edition. I checked it w.o them and the game worked just fine, so as a test I downloaded the extras and installed them, error message started popping up again. So for w.e reason that seems to be what's causing the problem.

so the main game works fine now, but it's the extra stuff that's still giving you the error message?

can you contact Sony or PSN and report it? cuz you paid extra for the Deluxe stuff, right?

Yea I plan to do so. Unfortunately I still can't play the game cause the psn is acting up and I can't connect to the origin servers to upload my world state from the dragon age keep. Ugh I just want to play the damn game already.

yeah. PSN being down ******* sucks. :cmad:

maybe that's why you're having trouble with the extra content?

I'm really having fun with my evil character, i punched Solas in the faaaace. :3

I just realized you're right...

I should have left Hawke in the Fade because Flemeth will save him/her. Flemeth clearly had a purpose for Hawke and I think it was more than being a delivery boy with some trinket. I think she'd save Alistair, too, because she did before and he's important from his parentage, but Loghain and [definitely] Stroud are goners.

I also just finished What Pride Had Wrought. I felt like this was the first instance where one choice I was making would definitely have an immediate impact [blackout]choosing to do the puzzles over jumping down the hold [/blackout] and another would have consequences later on [blackout]Morrigan entering the Well[/blackout].

On my righteous warrior character i regretted during what Pride had wrought on [BLACKOUT]not doing the puzzles, my character was in character to chase after the Tevinters, but i just felt bad how those ancient Arlathan elves had to die for that, granted, they we're loyal subjects of Mythal and we're pretty much just slaves/drones to her cause. I also allowed Morrigan to drink from the well.[/BLACKOUT]

My evil Qunari mage has been having a blast, i've slapped Solas, i made Alexius (only on Mage side villain) into a tranquil which pissed off Dorian, and here's what i plan to do: [BLACKOUT]Exile the Grey Wardens, make Blackwall into Inquisition's prisoner, make Vivienne into the Divine, have Gaspard alone become Orlais' Emperor, drink from the well[/BLACKOUT] :word:

PS. Regarding the quest "what pride had wrought" here's the fun thing: [BLACKOUT]Solas means Pride, so the quest's title reflects on the truth we learn about the ancient elven deities, what solas had wrought![/BLACKOUT]

Just beat the game...

I made Vivienne the Divine. She would provide the structure that kept the Chantry and Circle stable while still allowing mages to prosper.

That post-credit scene though...damn. I'm still reading up on it but it seems like the Elven gods and Andraste may be the elven and human versions of the same legend.

My righteous warrior made Cassandra the divine, she makes templars into global peace form who help people, so not just cops, but like scouts and do-gooders, mages will govern themselves but the Circles are back.

Yeah there's alot of great theories how Fen'harel locking up the gods + Mythal being gone, makes the 7 improsoned elven gods = the 7 old gods that Tevinters worship, it would also explain why Solas hates the Grey Wardens so much.

Blackwall was originally a Dwarf!

Guess they changed it to make his story more believable, less "coincidences" that way

If he was a dwarf, they could have made his "dark past" be that he was involved with killing Trian Aeducan to put Bhelen on the throne. Making him a former Orlesian soldier ties into the story better since Dwarfs are pretty absent.

Dragon Age: Inquisition PC patch 3 notes, 'close' to launch

The third PC patch for Dragon Age: Inquisition is focused on fixing myriad bugs, particularly those that break the game for some players, BioWare writes in a blog post. The patch is "close" to release, Executive Producer Mark Darrah said on Twitter over the weekend.

The patch tweaks multiplayer issues, balance issues, and adds requested features such as a key binding that allows walking on PC, armor upgrade menus and a push-to-talk option in the multiplayer end-of-match summary.

"Based on feedback from our players, we tweaked the banter system to be less random in order to prevent extra-long periods of silence," BioWare writes. "We fixed quest blockers in the personal quests of Dorian and Sera as well as a spawning issue in Solas's personal quest (I won't elaborate to avoid light spoilers). [...] We continue to listen to feedback from our players, and we thank everyone for working with us to create an even better Dragon Age experience."

Information about patches on Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 is incoming. See the complete PC patch 3 notes direct from BioWare below.
