Dragonball 2: Reborn (2011) Official

Does Emmy Rossum really want to sabotage her own career with another Dragonball movie?

Or Marsters. I feel the worst for him because he was a huge fan of the series who admitted he was probably the wrong choice for Piccolo but did it anyway because he wanted to be a part of it.

Fox just needs to drop the rights and let another studio have a go.

She had (and still has) this potential to be star like Anne Hathaway, but yeah, I'm with you. I know that she's a singer too, but if she's gonna do movies, get a new agent.

I can understand if Rossum is still an unknown and need to pay the bills to make B movies like DBZ, but she had a breakout role in POTO and was poised to be a bigger star, however each subsequent movie she has starred in seemed to be worse than the last. I agree that she has what it takes to be another Hathaway, but Hathaway took chances (with movies like Brokeback Mtn, Rachel Getting Married, etc), and Rossum by comparison just picked the worst movies (like Poseidon and now DBZ).

Rossum got a new agent shortly after DB:E was released. if she's gonna be in this monstrosity then it's probably due to contractual obligations......very unfortunate.

Oh come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not about to go through this headache again...

Her breakout role was Mystic River not Phantom of the Opera.

Phantom was a big disappointment not to mention an embarrassment for Gerard Butler as the most miscast Phantom ever.

Rossum got a Golden Globe nomination and she received alot more attention as Christine in POTO than her role in Mystic River. However, I do agree with that Gerard Butler was terrible as Phantom and he couldn't really sing. Patrick Wilson, on the other hand, was terrific as Raoul and he had extensive experience in theatre.

i liked Patrick Wilson's hair in POTO. My girlfriend at the time was in love with him until she saw his real hairline! waka waka

If FOX really wants to hold on to the DB lisence..Why not change the whole cast and do a Straight to DVD... At least they wont have to embarrass themselves again

she'll need to break her good girl image like Hathaway and start doing nude scenes like she did then. Which I wouldn't be opposed to actually. :)

Emmy Rossum does need a career boost. Yeah, I could see her as another Anne Hathaway. It's not too late. Like Anne, she can bounce back and forth between studio films and indie films, like Anne has done.

She also needs to do a movie with Steve Carrell.

This gets a sequel but Spider-Man 4 can't be made? Okay.

You guys actually believe that a sequel is going to be made? I'll believe it when it's filming.

And I thought that Patrick Wilson was awful in POTO.

Just wanted to add my to cents that convo.

Aren't we also getting a Nanny McPhee 2? Seems like they'll throw whatever they want out.

Exactly.

I wrote it in the first page. This has got to be complete BS.

Plus I used to write and post news for www.dbthemovie.com (now defunct and has merged with some other site). I can tell you dblegends will post almost anything and their reliability level is incredibly low.

We kept our stuff as rumor free as possible.

I wouldn't even consider this as a grain of salt.

And even if this baseless rumor does come to fruition we all know the result will be utter crap.

Nanny Mcphee almost doubled it's budget in the U.S and made 75mil overseas. Thats a good reason to make a sequel.

Dragon Ball cost between 30 and 50mil and made 9mil in the states and 49mil worldwide.

Most money is made from the domestic market...DBE was a huge flop.

u should prolly view ur own links considering its says fox denies any news on another db movie

Excuse me?

Sorry but I'm having problems decoding what your trying to express.

huh?

read the first post, guy provides a link and within this posted link is an update saying there is no sequel news, therefore topic stating db 2:official is not official
