Animation Dragonball HQ - Part 1

That was then. At least 10 years have passed since then. He was at least once in the Time Chamber to train for the Cell tournament, and unlike Gohan, we can assume he kept up with his training and lost nothing in power. And even if the power increase isn't as dramatic as with Saiyans, I wouldn't be surprised if he's now at least on Perfect Cell's level. The regular one, not when he died and came back with powers that rivaled SSJ2 Gohan.

None of that really matters until he demonstrates this theoretical power. I mean, even if he was at Perfect Cell level, though, he'd still be worthless. That power ain't nothing now

You asked... Why does Goku get credit for beating Frieza?

Because he did beat Frieza. You said it yourself. Stop arguing.
I meant to say credit for beating him, when Trunks was the one that killed him and sliced him to ribbons because Goku didn't really finish him.

So why are we arguing about this? My original point still stands then, that other than the Saiyans and Buu, any other fighter of Universe 7 is useless.

I'm in the 'they might/might not be useless' category.

I mean, you've got humans there that can make insanely useful techniques that can beat down, kill or even hold off people literally thousands of times stronger than they are. Destructo-Disc against Freeza, Tri-Beam against Semi-Perfect Cell, Solar Flare against everyone. The list goes on and on.

Humans seem to be on the low end of possible power gains but they are insanely inventive when it comes to new techniques to kick ass with. If either of the Androids have been making any techniques or learning any from anyone else at all since the Buu saga (Like 18 with Krillins Destructo-Disks) then they could be major powerhouses.

I see Roshi being more of a coach type anyway due to being crazy weak even by the Freeza saga. He'd be watching the fighters and advising on weaknesses he's seen.

I just wish they would have gotten some fighters that weren't from earth to mix it up a bit.

I've been thinking the same. The universe is vast, yet they only pick fighters from earth. Are there truly no other planets out there, that have any promising fighters?

To be fair, Freeza probably recruited or killed a lot of them over the years.

Team Four Star put up a new video. Cell Vs Kenshiro. It's great. :D

Unfortunately it has cursing, so I can't post it.

I thought it was pretty funny. Never did watch Fist of the North Star.

Excited to see Gohan's match next after Buu's fight. Man that Kai from U9 is cocky.

I really hope Gohan gets his Mystic form back, once the proper tournament starts. Last Episode was fun to watch. It's great to see Buu back in action.

I haven't been watching at all since the first few episodes. Mystic Gohan was my favorite. Would love to see him return in that form.

I need to mention that I still want to smack Goku around. Yes, he's always excited and looking forward to a good fight. But he was also always fully aware of the consequences and taking the situation seriously.

But listening to him talk how he's looking forward to fighting new warriors from all the universes, and that's why he asked Zeno to hold the tournament, just makes me angry. He acts like the destruction of every single universe, except the victorious one, is not a big deal.

Well, think about Gokus basic psychology.

He's grown up learning that beating the hell out of anything makes things fine. Enemies? Beat them until they either die or become allies. He's also grown up learning that any problem can be fixed by Dragon Balls. People dead? Wish them back. Planet blown up? Wish it back. Everything ends up fine. He dies? He goes and trains with the gods until he gets brought back one way or another. He gets hurt being an idiot? Senzu beans. Spared Freeza? Trunks killed him. The biggest thing that happened to him that couldn't be fixed was when he killed Grandpa Gohan and that was only because he didn't know about the Dragon Balls. He's basically done whatever he wanted his whole life with very few permanent consequences.

The man has literally lived a fantasy life that a child would want. Of course he just goes forward with whatever the hell he wants to do. No one has ever sat him down and made him pay for his actions.

So going by that, Vegeta and Goku are trading places?

Vegeta being the kind, loving family man willing to risk life and limb to protect his family.

Goku being the arrogant jackass that puts people/worlds in danger to fight more powerful beings.

I can see it.

It's just weird though. The guy who, after some brain damage, grew up as a human his whole life becomes reckless and arrogant, and the guy who grew up as a Prince, probably blew up planets and killed millions, becomes a kind and caring family man, after only spending a little over a decade with humanity.

I watched Masakos video and I like the idea that he's reverting to his original instincts.

I was curious if the Death Note would actually do anything considering Death and even massive body damage aren't anywhere near the same problem in DBZ they are in other Anime.

Gohan was quite the badass in Episode 80. Looking forward to see him get even stronger. He really needs to get back to his old form and beyond. [BLACKOUT]Too bad his opponent was a cheating bastard.[/BLACKOUT] And it looks like Goku might unfortunately get no character development at all.

Now that it's been confirmed that Zeno always wanted to reduce the number of Universes and Goku asking for the Tournament gives him the perfect opportunity. But only the weak universes will be erased and the winner of the tournament gets to remain. So Goku's reckless behavior actually gave Universe 7 a chance to survive. I don't like that the show gave Goku an out like that and he doesn't have to deal with any repercussions resulting from his actions.

Those high and mighty punks of Universes 1,5,8 &12 :o
