Animation Family Guy

It's ironic that the funniest Simpson writing in years came from the Family Guy writers.

Maybe the two should switch.

It's been so long since the Simpsons actually had jokes.

A wonderful episode... really surpassed all my expectations.

The only negative things I can think of is that the ''Chicken'' fight went on a tad too long and I would of liked more interaction between Marge and Lois.

Plus, I loved the little Roger cameo.

The chicken fights always go on too long. It's part of the gag.

I had watched The Simpsons Sunday for the first time in a long time. Was actually surprised at how good and consistent that show still is after 25 years. Then I got the crossover. Watched the first half Sunday, went to bed, finished it last night. LOVED IT. The self-awareness on both sides was great. The commentary on each family from the other was gold. Loved everything. It's also the darkest we've seen Stewie in a really long time. Can't say enough good things.

"I took Apu." :lmao:

I thought the crossover was a bore. I'm ready for both shows to end.

I enjoyed this more than I thought. Didn't even know it was the night for it when tuning in. It actually made me want to start watching the Simpsons on a regular basis again.

Loved the interplay on gags. I about lost it on the Homer 'Roadhouse' bit.

I liked it but it was definitely not what it could have been. I understand their animation and humor styles require compromise but it felt like there wasn't enough of one show or the other getting to show off its strengths.

Honestly, his Cleveland is so good that if I didn't know about the behind the scenes changeup I don't think I'd have noticed the difference.

So Lois dating Bonnie was something.
