Animation Family Guy

Meh. If you want pathos, Family Guy probably isn't the place to turn. It was a cheap arc, but to be honest I'm just glad Vinnie the stereotypical Eye-talian pooch is gone. Boy that character was one-note.

I suspect that they deliberately made the character kind of annoying so that people wouldn't be upset at him leaving the show.

To make a point of how stupid it is when others shows over the years have done similar things.

Then why even do it?

Vinnie wasn't the point of the arc, that place goes to Stewie. The probably only added Vinnie into the mix to make people think that this was a permanent change to the show. If the new guy had turned out to be a really great replacement and people started saying that they were glad that Brian had been replaced then this whole arc would have backfired on them.

I love the Duff bit and the "Looks like we're going to make it." "Trust me we won't."

Looking forward to seeing this episode air. Though it'll be heavily edited for Family Guy's part. A PG Family Guy? How would that even work? Lol

Stewie's crank call killed me.

Awesome episode. Would have made a good feature film actually. Perfectly captured the big-event feel.

I gotta say this was a pretty good crossover. There were some golden jokes in here. I'd like to see this happen again.

That was amazing. Loved all the references to each show and especially loved Stewie/Bart and Meg/Lisa.

That was beautiful.

Dear Seth & Matt,

DO FUTURAMA-AMERICAN DAD NEXT!!

Love, Jason

I saw a little bit of the fight online but I waited to watch the whole thing. The nuclear gamma powered scene was awesome.

They animated the **** out of that fight scene.

Fixed. :woot:

I liked them having Fred Flintstone up there.

That Homer/Peter fight was awesome and having Roger show up.

That was basically our SvB:DOJ fight preview :woot:

Disappointed they didn't have Brian interact with Lisa; she was just as much on his level compared to Meg.

This just felt not right to me.

Though there were actually some clever lines. "Hitler, Manson... Jaden Smith."

Did some of the Simpsons characters sound off to anyone?

Different recording studio maybe? Homer and Lisa sounded right, but Apu and Marge seemed off.

I thought Hans Moleman sounded more like Abe and less like he usually sounds. Anyhoo, I thought it was a great episode. I loved Stewie and Bart scenes.

Funny, but ultimately fluff. They could have done more. Still liked it though

I laughed when James Woods (Family Guy) was sitting next to James Woods (The Simpsons).
