I stopped paying attention to DBS due to no English dub and the Manga taking forever. Good to see I have stuff to catch up on.

I've heard I should skip the first bit due to the movies being better story-wise. Opinions?

Skip the first two arcs. Not worth it. The series does nothing with the extra time. It's just infuriatingly boring.

punching through Ribrianne's head was awesome, I would have liked to see some reaction shots of Frieza, Jiren etc. when she went all Godzilla sized. There better be an episode of Vegeta vs Toppo we were robbed of seeing that fight

The whole Episode still didn't make a lick of sense. Did 18 even train at all? At least 17 had off-screen training, but they haven't mentioned or hinted at 18 having gotten stronger in all these years. Yet she manages to put down Ribrianne, who managed to keep up with Goku.

But despite that, it was still extremely satisfying to see that Teletubby get defeated.

I didn't see the movies, so it was fine for me. The slice of life episodes were great though.
