Drive - New TV series on Fox

I don't watch this....but something I find interesting about fox.

They pick amazing shows to make, like real quality stuff, like arrested development, angel and firefly, and cancel it almost straight away. It's like they are awesome at decideing what to make, but suck at giving it a chance.

But they aren't the only ones who do it. Sleeper Cell and Dead Like me are two other casulties of amazing shows that didnt get past season 2

It all depends on who owns the rights, but again...Minear is closely associated with Whedon and Firefly. After Serenity's bomb, I don't see anyone giving Minear a second chance.

All things considered, it probably turned some profit on DVD...but not much.

I hate Fox now. Minear needs to go with some other network to do his shows at... surely the CW, NBC, USA, or some other network than Fox.

But those movies probably didn't flop at the box-office. General rule of thumb...if a movie cannot recoup its budget at the box office, it won't get a sequel. There are exceptions, granted...but I can't see Serenity being one. And because of Minear's ties to it...I can't see Drive getting a movie...maybe a DTV film though.

LOl thats howi feel. I just watch the shows that have been on a while like Prison Breeak And Bones. And the sunday night line up/ other then that i don't watch fox.

I'm sad that its cancelled. I guess this is the only place to watch Drive until it shows the last two episode in the summer.

I'm pretty sure they were the last two episodes produced, and there are thirteen episodes in total.

I hope USA picks this up, the characters would be perfect for the network.

I was reading that they're discussing airing the remaining nine episodes. But the most likely ways of distribution look to be iTunes and/or streaming over the web.

I'm sick of Fox and never watching the station again. I'll DOWNLOAD my episodes for 24 from now on.

2nd. I hate people...when a quality show like Drive gets canceled because idiots are too busy watching freakin reality tv and thinking it's actually REAL...they are the ones I blame for the death of good tv.

So, apparently, the guys at FOX, after moving it from July 4th to the 13th, have decided not to air the final two episodes AT ALL. Idiots. You know what, I'm never gonna watch FOX again. I'm not talking outta my ass, I will never watch any of the stuff they put on, just in case they get the inkling to pull it off the air before giving any sort of conclusion. I dont care how good the Sarah Conner Chronicles looks or how good the next season of 24 may be. I'm done. This is the last nail in their coffin to me.
