Droping Amazing Spider-Man

A political campaign to nominate Jackie Chan for candidacy in the Green Party.

I could support this but only if he brings back Jackie Chan Adventures. **** was so cash.

A joke? Puh-lease. He's got my vote. He'd be great for National Security.

Definitely, I feel bad for all those people who actually believe that Jackie Chan is being nominated for the Green Party...

You could just welcome Egotastic to the internet and get it over with.

Please tell me that's a joke. Please.

It's a joke.

4chan is a ****hole. Not even in a funny way, just a big endless hole of awful ****. Do both of us a favor and forget I ever mentioned it.

Why would I do that? Don't confuse me with my sister. I'm the MERCILESS God.

4chan is an ******* and your opinion is like one.

Still, this thread is bringing a smile to mine eyes.

Messianic worship of your sibling? Sounds a little too close to incest if you ask me.

I think the planets are alined! :cwink:

But yeah; dont you think the Michelinie/McFarlane/Larsen stuff was a blast?

I miss those days. :csad:
I was even born and I love it.Micheline was great. One of my favorite Spidey writers of all time.Dematteis is in a league of his own.

*******s are the totally correct and objectively undeniable truth?

Cause if so then you're right, my opinion is exactly like one.

You guys are high. You're telling me the Michelinie/ McFarlane days were "mediocre"?

BND is ok, but i'd prefer ANY of the late 80's/early 90's stuff over the current stuff anytime. Even Larsen's run. At least that era stood on it's own merits and wasnt scambling to recapture past glories...:meanie:

To me, ASM started to go down in quality by #300... the McFarlane artwork was nice, but Michelinie's stories were good at first, but died down quickly... "The Assasination Plot" storyline is when I started to see the book suffer, and Larsen's artwork on the book was waaaaaaaaaaaay to McFarlan-ish for my tastes... I love the man's ideas and the way he thinks in regards to the industry, but I just can't handle his artwork.

Beyond that, the DeMattheis/Buscema run on Spectacular is the only one that stands out in my mind in the last 20 years. (again, with a few exceptions, storywise...)

:yay:

If superhero comics really are circular, then maybe in another 30 years they'll retcon Spider-Man back to his DeMatteis/Buscema status quo and I'll pick his comic back up then. :)

I'm surprised no one has compared OMD/BND to heroes reborn. It's almost the same thing.
