Just picked up the Season 7 Blu-Ray. I work at a DVD/CD store, so with my discount I got it for $20. Sweeeeeeet.

Hey i was wondering for all the folks who got the dvd set already is the scene that was cut of lex in winter coat walking up to the fos in the dvd or did they not include it.

Sadly it's not.It was one of the first scenes I looked for when I got it but I couldn't find it anywhere. It really sucks.

Darn that sucks, i wonder why it wasnt included, also i wish the original version of versita if it was to be the season finale were to be included. Darn it sucks i would have loved to see what the scene was like.

the extra features on Smallville DVDs were never that great to begin with. Aside from a few documentaries, the DVDs have been pretty bare bones IMO.

I liked a few of the deleted scenes and the jimmys all talking, but aside from that, meh.

They did commentaries on the wrong episodes and no extras for all the good eps, kind of a drag

damnit people. how hard is it? Just get . . .

1) At least 4 commentaries, one of which MUST have Welling, or it defeats the purpose.
2) Q&A featurette with the cast about the season
3) Bloopers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really sucks that they had a 6th disc that really seemed to go to waste aside from the few extras that were included on it. They could've easily put in at least the original verison of Veritas there.

YEa i would have loved to see what season finale veritas would have been, the lex seeing fos scene, and i believe we have havent gotten blooper reel since season 3 set, and yea i agree we should have more Q and As, more commentaries, and other cool features. Also i seen a clip of the jimmy talk to bad they didnt get one of the jimmys from lois and clark and the guy who voiced jimmy in stas.

I guess for the jimmy feature they probably were either busy with other things or they were not even contacted or maybe they were contacted but wanted to have no part in it.

It's sad to say, but this is the first SV set that I haven't bought on the first day of release. I'm just going to wait until it's sharply discounted to like $20. If, on the other hand, this set had actual special features worth watching, I probably would've been in line at Best Buy at 9 in the morning last Tuesday.

I bought it the day it came out just to get the Best Buy exclusive comic... sadly it is based on the Stride Gum episode, now I don't even bother looking at it (as that was the second worst episode ever, the first being the Spy Jimmy ep, ugh)

Personally the episodes i thought sucked the wrost in season 7 was sleeper and feirece i liked some things of the pete episode.

Personally, Blue and Lara really got to me early on in the season. I felt like they were more far fetched than usual SV episodes. Though Sleeper is up there too.

Just broke open the DVDs today... What a letdown. Kinda like the season, so I guess it's par.

For the first time since watching Smallville, i didn't rewatch the entire season from the beginning when getting the box set. Just didn't feel like it...

I was however interested in the special features on disk 6. I mean, a SHORT season and a whole disk with features, I thought surely there would be something good. Interesting at least...

I gritted my teeth through Kara's blessedly short tenure on the show, so those extras I'll never watch...

The Jimmy on Jimmy featurette... didn't include even a mention of Justin Whalin from Lois and Clark?! I was just not getting into it, so I turned it off before it was done. I'll try again later.

I didn't see anything else that looked interesting. Not even any bloopers. So IMO disk 6 was a total WASTE.

I then searched for commentaries... Only 2. ONLY 2?!

I started the first (Persona) and walked away. (I'd rather do laundry.) First of all, the CRAP they pulled with Lana last year was irritating enough... seeing it again right off the bat just reminded me of it. Then the comments... yawn. Clearly I'm not in the mood.

I was under the impression that the supergirl stuff really wasn't about Laura or Smallville. The cartoons are basically their own little thing and kara's character is really different to Laura's on the show. Is the featurette really heavy about Smallville? Last year's green arrow one was amazing because it was 90% comics related.

Every extra sounds like a great big yawn fest. Kara and Jimmy featurettes? Please. I don't know what's so hard about including 90 seconds of bloopers, or a few tasty behind-the-scenes clips, but these extraneous featurettes reek of "We're out of ideas for the DVD - lets throw this in to burn space."

Whatever happened to the commentary that Kevin Smith was supposed to do with a few other comic writers? <- rhetorical

Same here. I won't wait for it to hit the bargain bin, but I didn't run out the first day to find it like I normally do.

I actually liked season 7, and I want the DVD's to make caps. So, I guess my lack of urgency to get them is probably because of the piss-poor extras. I've seen a lot of the deleted scenes already on youtube, and aside from those, the rest of the extras are just meh.

I got it the day it came out,but its nothing special just the season with a few extras honestly i feel like i pay just for the episodes lol but whatever i don't mind
