Alternative to Taker, I'd say Orton. Have him revisit his legend killer gimmick and have Sting challenge him.

I actually like that idea.

oh, and Sting actually debuting in a WWE ring at WM would certainly make for a WM moment!!

What did Jarrett tweet about Sting?

Oh, and is Brock in the EC match?

Jeff Jarrett Tweets on Sting

TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett sent out a tweet this weekend after what could have been "The Icon" Sting's last match on Impact Wrestling.

Stinger... Timeline filled up... A true class act and an one-of-a-kind MAN... Many, many thanks to you... @Sting #Icon #grateful #class

Another question. Do you think if Sting signs with WWE, he should win the WWE title at some point?

I say it would be a nice gesture to Sting, and if it were to happen it should be over Orton, who could play the perfect heel the fans hate and is established enough not to lose anything by it.

Only if he wants it. If he doesn't want the WWE Title it makes no sense to give him one.

Rushing Sting/Undertaker would be a big mistake as far as I'm concerned. If he does sign a contract and comes in before 'Mania, he needs a program that he can actually come out on top of, and that's not happening if he faces 'Taker.

My ideal first storyline for Sting would actually be against The Shield, with either a singles match vs. Reigns at 'Mania or a Handicap match at 'Mania, with the group splintering at the event as was recently rumored.

That way, Sting would get a win and Reins, Ambrose, and Rollins would still keep their credibility since they would only lose because of their internal issues.

thanks.

interesting.

I really hope Sting is done with TNA. He did what he could for the company. and with the way TNA is now, there really isn't much more he can do for them. It would be a waste of his time, name, and talent to stay on with TNA.

I'm sure Sting recognizes he is in the twilight of his wrestling career. If you're going to have one last leg, might as well do it where it matters and at the greatest stage of them all!

Until we know for certain that Sting has signed with the WWE, if there are some ominous looking videos with darkness in it the next few weeks, I'm going to say "oh look, another set of The Undertaker is coming back" promos.

yeah........I don't think he'd want his debut match to be a loss to Taker. plus, you'd have to have time to build up that match.

let Sting feud with other guys first and get himself established in the WWE universe.

I could certainly see them tease a Sting/Taker feud AFTER Taker's match at WM this year.

Take wins, the streak continues, but then the lights go out not on Taker's command. then up in the rafters, there's Sting watching.

thanks.

Hell, Kurt Angle said earlier today that he would like to end his career in the WWE.

It may be nothing, but an interesting profile pic Sting has up on his twitter....

"The only thing sure about Sting is nothings for sure"

Like I said, a feud with The Shield would be a perfect 'introduction' for him.

I think it'd be cool IF Sting shows up as a surprise than by vignettes,Just appear out of nowhere and do a silent stare down or point his bat at someone to end the Raw after WM30

thanks.

I think between the financial situation of the company and Jarrett leaving, not to mention all of the other setbacks this year, was probably the writing on the wall for Sting and Angle that they need to leave and sign with WWE.

For Sting this is probably truly his last opportunity given his age and for Angle he was forced into sobriety and I'm sure that itself makes him realize he may have a chance back with WWE.

Ugh, Cena/Bray is bad enough and Hogan being in his corner? No thanks....

I think that's going to be the case. I've seen several sites report that WWE is searching for something to do with Hogan now that a match has been ruled out. A common idea seems to be him in Cena's corner.

I'm not having confidence in how the WWE would handle Sting, especially what happened in Royal Rumble.

I think there is a reason Sting posted that famous slogan on both his Facebook and Twitter page - he could re-sign with TNA, sign with WWE, or retire altogether as those are his likely options.

they would. the question is, though, would the Shield still be intact by then, whenever then is.......lol.

and perhaps they could play on the whole "hounds of justice" thing. Isn't that what The Shield called themselves at the beginning?

and wasn't Crow Sting's character sort of a "justice bringer" character?

anyone see the Shield interview (minus Roman) on Rover's Morning Glory?

he asked them who is someone they look at and are amazed or impressed by and the both said Antonio Cesaro. told a story about him. Ambrose called him Claudio by mistake lol

damn i miss ROH.

yeah....a chance for them to ride off in the sunset in glory.

and as for how WWE would treat Sting. something tells me they would be more deferential to Sting given his Icon status.

however, you never know with McMahon's ego. He would probably think he finally "conquered" Sting and won..........:whatever:

it would also be something to see Sting and Flair together in a WWE ring.

not wrestling.......but just being in the same ring together in WWE.

Recent rumors have the group staying together until 'Mania, so if Sting's already signed a contract, a fued with the group at that PPV is the perfect way to bring him in and simultaneously put the nail in the coffin for the trio's partnership while keeping them looking strong in the process.

Sting wrestling at WM 30 seems rushed unless he debuts at EC after a match like Shield vs Wyatt's or Something to set up the mania match,I think he should debut at WM to make it a huge moment or at the Raw after to close the show

Sting reportedly makes 500K a year with TNA. Given that they could not even pay Styles what he was previously making, which is far less than Sting's, I don't see how he goes back. He could make far more money with WWE on a Legends deal than he could with TNA at this point.

Plus there are two factors to consider. One, it is clear that TNA simply isn't going anywhere anytime soon. After the Hogan/Bischoff failure, it's clear TNA has a long road ahead of them just to get back to being a profitable company. There's not a big future for Sting in the company now and his wishes of helping them reach the next level are surely gone at this point.

Secondly, and what I think might be the most important factor is HHH's new found power and role in the company. HHH was instrumental in getting Bruno back to WWE after years of turmoil. Just as he was the bridge fro Bruno, I can see him as the bridge for Sting. HHH is said to be a big proponent of signing Sting as he has a ton of respect for him. You have to think he would play a large role in making sure Sting looked strong in the company.

Sting isn't a guy who has burned any bridges in the business and by all accounts he is considered one of the few good guys in the business that you never hear a bad word about. I don't see any axes to grind on WWE's part, especially at this stage of the game and WWE has always shown Sting respect and praise in all of their footage of him. Besides, I think Sting would make sure he has assurances that he has some creative control over his character.

Batista seems way more over as a heel than even Randy Orton is at this point. It's got to be intentional given The Authority referring to him as "a good friend" and him dressing like a *****e two weeks in a row and getting visibly pissed at the fans chanting for Bryan. There is no way Batista could be this bad at being a babyface, could he?

Is it fair to say Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and even Cena got the biggest cheers/chants tonight? Everyone else either got booed or got very little reaction.

If you bring Sting in the night after EC, you've got 5 weeks to build a program for him for 'Mania; that's more than enough time.

Remember how quickly they built Rock vs Hogan? Look how great that turned out.

Sting vs. Taker could be done with the same amount of time.

In that case I'd still debut him at EC,Maybe after whatever Punk does with Kane and go after Kane to tie Sting into the Authority story,At Mania it could be Kane vs Punk/Daniel involved in the title match against Orton and Sting vs Kane
