Eckhart Eyeing Green Lantern?

Eckhart would be a good Hal, but I still think he'd be better as Cap.

Still, I'd rather see him as Two-Face again for at least one more movie!

Rebecca Romijn played a non-comic character role in the Punisher.

Ryan Reynolds played a nobody in Blade. Yeah, who really knows much on Blade before seeing the movie, even less with Hannibal (Lecter?).

Jon Favreau played an almost mute character in Iron Man. And starred in a movie that Marvel might want to forget in Daredevil.

Halle Berry is in Catwoman. Nuff said.

Actually there'd be no problem if Eckhart lands on a Marvel job. When he starred as a disfigured villain in DC Comics, now there lies the problem to land a starring role in Marvel comics. I'm not saying he's "banned" from supporting role, but Steve Rogers or Hal Jordan can't be seen as the Two Face.

just to play the comic nerd card, Rebecca Romijn's character from Punisher was in the Punisher comic.

and Hannibal King (reynolds in Blade Trinity) was a character from the Blade comics... a member of the Darkhold Redeemers....

Poor starring choice indeed by Eckhart, he could vie for the Captain America role if he hadn't taken Two Face.
Poor? Yeah what a poor starring choice by Eckhart, playing a well known character who is the "backbone" in THE biggest movie this year. :whatever:

I hate to say it but I think that 90 percent comment is true

It's funny Eckhart should mention that, because on Conan I thought he said he's not really into the superhero genre. He liked TDK because it's very much a "drama."

I want to see a manip of Aaron in the green latern suit!!!!!!!!!

Eckhart looks just right for the role of Hal Jordan, unfortunately for me, the guy now IS Two-Face!

For me he's got 3 strikes against him:

1. He's blond
2. He's too old
3. He already played Two-Face

WB can easily get someone else who is better

1. Hair can easily be changed.
2. Yes he is a bit old but it all really counts on what they want to do with the character.
3. So what if he played one character already, TDK two-face is probably never going to crossover with other dc heroes/villains.

You abhor fan art? Huh? What's wrong with aspiring artists showing their enthusiasm for movies and comics? Don't you know that is how the artists you love who draw your favorite characters start out?

actually a couple of my favorite artists (Alex Ross included) have formal art education...Steve Dillon started working professionally at 16.....so not ALL comic book artists started with Photoshop and MS Paint...
