Bethesda Elder Scrolls: Oblivion

Took me a while to get it, too.

Here: I'll try to explain...

You have 4 quarters to the little circle with a number at the middle. Your goal is to get the number as high as you can.

Now, notice when you highlight the 4 quarters that there are 4 different expressions on the person's face. Basically theres, Very Mad, Mad, Glad, and Very Happy.

Also, there are 4 different levels of which the 4 quarters are filled. Let's call them 1, 2, 3, and 4 (1 being almost empty and 4 being almost full)

Got that much? K.

Now, the persuasion deal kinda goes in rounds. Each "round" involves you clicking on each quarter once. The strategy in this is knowing when to click what quarter.

Important to note is that each time you click on a quarter, the circle rotates one slot clockwise.

Now, let's assign some cheap point system to the facial expressions:
Very Mad = -2
Kinda Mad = -1
Kida Happy = 1
Very Happy = 2

And we also have the 4 degrees of how filled the quarters are:
Very Empty = 1 to Very Full = 4

Still with me? Hope so, this is hard to explain.

Okay. So lets say that when you click on a quarter, that you get the points that are the result of multplying the Facial Expression point with the Quarter-Filled point.

Example:
Clicking on the Very Mad quarter while it's Very Empty results in -1 points.
Clicking on the Very Happy quarter while it's Very Full results in +8 Points.
Clicking on the Very Mad quarter while it's Very Full results in -8 Points.

etc. etc. etc.

So quite simply put, you want to click on the Happy-faced quarters when they're at their fullest, and the Mad-faced quarters when they're empty as possible.

Somehow I'm not sure that helped make any more sense for you. :/ Sorry.

Why'd you go all technical? I summed that up in three simple sentences.

Dunno, any shop I guess. That gives out lessons. Which are a rip off.

Shut the f**k up and go cry over everyone else not liking it. So people hate the game, big deal, I don't give a s**t, I'm enjoying it and aside from the forgivable pop-out-of-nowhere textures, it's fantastic.

Well I can't enjoy it anymore.

I wish I could as I really loved the game, but I just can't bring myself to play it anymore. Just read the RPGCodex forum for an hour and you'll never play again.

RPGCodex is, and I despise having to use the word, a ******ed forum. Literally. It's like a tard house. Full of tardiness. You should join them.

"Oooh my god, these people don't like the game... but I was liking it... no, loving it! But they don't like it so I guess I'll trade it in and forget about it."

That's how I am. I still own it, but I hide it under my Robocop DVDs. I'll sell it off to buy Tomb Raider.

All of these complaints about the game...It's not just the Codex...but many people too...saying how the game is a disgrace to the Elder Scrolls name. Not just fanboys, but real ES fans who are quitting the series over the game.

You're going to sell it for...

Tomb Raider?

Yes, as Tomb Raider recieved extremely positive reviews so far. It's scores are nearly comparable to those of Oblivion.

Why post here then ? No one here agrees with you & we all think you suck why not go join & post at the RPGCodex forum since you agree with them & all. Leave us alone please since you obviously like other forums go join them now be gone

Oh please. The good old : Oh noes! Yo disagree! leave noob!

No one complained when I loved the damn game.

The only reason I have a grudge with your hatred for the game is it isn't based on your opinion, it's based around others. Which is just flat out stupid. If you hated the game out of your own experience with it and decided, "Hey, I don't like this game that much, I don't think I'll play it anymore." I wouldn't mind. But stopping and being 'ashamed' because other fans are qutting the franchise... jeez.

The point is...I know it's ******ed.

I know I shouldn't care and just enjoy the damn game...

But I can't. It's a huge problem of mine...I think I need help.

I'm having issues with the Arena. I can't get past those three slaves. They hit me up gangster style. >_<

First you level up your destruction magicka enough so that you can cast lightning bolts on them (took me only 2 per each guy). Then, you rob the jewelery store. Now go to Skingrad and talk to the count. When you meet his secretary *****, tell her to make you a grill :o

Dude, just get the bow and arrow, and head straight to your left when the gate goes down. To the closed gates. Now, jump onto the side, and keep jumping until you get to the very top, and now you can just shoot down at the suckers. Or if you have magic or something use that. I posted s**tty pictures a few pages back but you should get the idea.

And make sure to do the side quest for the grand champion, it'll make the last match a lot easier. :o

Hey, that guy from the dark brotherhood bit me. The vampire. So am I gonna be a vampire forever now?

the RPGcodex is a joke. bunch of elite tabletop roleplayers who whine and ***** as much as possible about anything Roleplaying related before they have to drag their massive, rotund asses out of their mothers basements to travel by way of livestock crates to the next tabletop con.

you can find SOME good info on there if you can sift through the endless game bashing threads, definition fo what RPG's really are threads, and pitifull threads about how to level up effectively enough to loose multiple decade long "virginity curse".

Oblivion is a fun game.

I heard the 360 version gets choppy outdoors and that the PC version doesn't. Is that true at all or is 1up being a bunch of morons?
