Did anyone ever find out if you can replace an NPC's clothes by pickpocketing them?

Im in the process of getting my PP skill up, but i got a long way to go.

I'll see your Macho Man dragon, and raise you Zoidberg mudcrabs:

Man some people have WAY too much time on their hands.

But that Macho Man one was pretty damn funny.

hey guys, I've seen some pretty cool looking armor, like the Nightingale armor, Ebony, and Daedric armor sets.

but those sets seem more appropriate for a "dark knight" type of character, given their look and color schemes.

what would be the coolest looking heavy armor set for a "white knight/paladin" type character? especially a set that would go well with the Dawnbreaker sword.

thanks.

Glass Armour, definitely, or Steel plate armour

^ thanks.

is Glass Armor considered Heavy Armor, or Light Armor?

thanks.

so.....what if my character's been sporting Heavy Armor, and thus increasing her Heavy Armor skill and investing in Heavy Armor perks. then, I start wearing Glass Armor down the road. what would be the "fastest" way to raise my Light Armor skill?

My character is fairly early on in the story ( level 5, I think, and just met with the Greybeards ). I've been wearing mainly Heavy Armor, and I believe I've invested a few perk points in the Heavy Armor tree.

if I plan on wearing Glass Armor later on, should I start wearing Light Armor now, to raise my Light Armor skill, and start investing perks in the Light Armor tree?

If you're planning on wearing a light armor, you should definitely start investing in that tree. I picked heavy armor early on and kept investing it in so by the time I got Daedric armor I was all kinds of powerful

^ thanks.

in that case, I'll switch to Light Armor to start leveling it up.

I read somewhere that one way to level up the armor skills is to stand in one of those fire pits ( in an inn or blacksmith ) and take constant damage. then heal and repeat.

does that work?

I don't think they hurt you. The easiest way is to just let someone hit you. If you're tough enough, do it against a giant.

^ thanks.

I'll try the fire pit thing to see if it works. if not, I guess I'll have to let myself get hounded by a pack of wolves.......lol

don't think I'm tough enough to get hit by a giant.........

I have an amazing armor rating and a giant can still whip my ass from time to time. Dragons don't stand a chance though. Strange.

I think I'm gonna start playing Skyrim again. I've been off it for about a month. It was getting somewhat monotonous to play it 6 hours a day like I was. I took a much needed break, but I now think it's time to return to the land of Skyrim!

i wanna beat the main quest

so i can spend the rest of my game summoning a dragon to my aid

I'm getting pretty annoyed with this game. I've done most of the game including
killing the Emperor and beating Alduin
but there's several quests where I can't complete it due to bugs.

The Thieves guild quest The Pursuit, due to the main character not responding with anything but "What do you want?" and I can't do any single thieves guild sidequest because of that one which prevents 3 other quests from other people including the Brotherood from working. I also can't get more than 3 steps into the city of Markarth without guards attacking me for that quest with the forsaken which should have been fixed by the end of the quest.

As far as I've been able to determine from Gamefaqs and elderscrolls.wikia.com, there's no fixes for any of these, and no, killing everyone involved doesn't fix them either. :(

I really do enjoy this game with over 100 hours in my first playthrough but this really ticks me off.

When the hell is the Emperor in Skyrim?!

Ive literally been playing this all day. One improvement I like is that there is an exit or shortcut to an exit at the end of all the caves Ive been in so far. In Oblivion before when you completed one of these quests you'd have to backtrack through most of what you just went through but I like how its set up here.

Loving my Breton mage. Destruction magic is the way to go
