So guys how many of the artifacts did you get? So far I have:

Dawnbreaker
Mehrunes Razor
Mace of Malag Bol
Sanguine Rose
Wabbajack
Galdur Amulet
Masque of Clavicus Vile
Azura's Star
Spellbreaker

I did the orc tribe quest before I realized it was a Daedric one, and my guy had no use for big hammers, so I either sold or didn't bother picking up the Volendrung, which is now lost forever and the achievement for getting all the artifacts is a wash on my 90+hour character.

I'm only missing 1 or 2 of the others, though.

I have the Sanguine Rose, Wabbajack and Masque of Clavicus Vile.
I lost my Sanguine Rose. I was disarmed in a dungeon and I think the game bugged and it fell through the floor:csad:.

Please, spare me your tears!

I've got it sitting in my house. I have no current use for it :p

You can have it if you like.

I seemed to have lost Lydia. I noticed she stopped following me when I went into a cave and I think she might have gotten killed off. I looked for her body but couldnt find it. Ive since gotten a new companion though.

So did you guys pick Stormcloaks or Legion? Im undecied about which side to join and holding off on it

Oh and I completed the serial killer quest I beleive in Windhelm. That was disturbing to say the least

Lydia got herself killed in the Labyrinth and I couldn't be bothered at the time to go back to a previous save point. But now I miss her :(

I think siding with the Storm Cloaks is the "bad" option... because it's just a way for the high elves to take over once the empire is split.

However, when you get down to it I'm not sure there's a real "bad" choice. It's very much a grey area.

I decided to hook up with the Empire as soon as I found out the Stormcloaks were planning to attack Whiterun. Plus, they're kind of racisty!

Either way, joining the Stormcloaks is bad option unless you're a dumbass jingoistic Nord as if you are free from the empire your land is gonna be Thalmor land soon after that, or you're an undercover elf for the Altimieri Dominion.

I'm joining the Empire because the Thalmor are a bunch of *****ebags.

This glitched for me. A woman I'm suppose to get key from is dead. And my lockpicking isn't high enough to break in. :csad:

Aren't you playing it on the PC? There's a way to get around it. I did it for a DB mission since Nilsine Shatter-Shield was already dead when I went to go find her to kill.

You use "player.moveto [character ID]" which takes you to the NPC graveyard (weird room with the undressed bodies of dead NPCs). Find her body, open the console, click it, and type resurrect. Then use player.moveto [a living NPC ID] to go back to the real world. Then do the "placeatme [NPC ID]" to bring the dead one to you. And now she's back in the world of the living.

I've not had any problems with it. The only console commands I've done that made things screwed up were using "player.setscale" while on a horse (moved erratically then we both died) and "setrace dragonrace" on myself.

Or you can use the console to click the door of the house and type "unlock" to get into it.

I'm glad there's no option for that on console. I always have fun with those kind of game breaking 'god mode' sort of functionalities but it just makes me get tired of the game really quickly. I remember using the Finger of the Mountain cheat on Oblivion on the PC and you feel awesome for a brief while, then just cheap.

I've been playing Skyrim in a really strict way this playthrough. My first playthrough was a total do ANY quest, level EVERYTHING up kind of character but I've limited myself with my Khajiit to only stealth, archery and potions. There are times when I think 'Ah, I wish I could just use restoration' or something but it makes the experience all the more rewarding and makes the roleplaying aspect a lot more fun. This is the first game where I've felt like I really want to stick to that stuff.

In other games, even when I try to be evil or something I always end up being the same, honourable kind of paragon character. But I'm really enjoying making evil or perhaps immoral decisions, not for some different achievement, reward or story outcome but just because it's what I think my character would do.

Man I felt like such an idiot going for the Lights Out quest.
It didnt hit me that something was up till I walked on the ship andsaw all those bloody bodies of the killed soliders. I thought, that wasnt what I signed up for. Sure enough th Argonians were evil and tried to kill me off as well. I wish there was an option to actually turn them in to the guards when your character calls him out on plotting a crime

I think there should be that option in any quest where someone nefarious asks you to commit a crime. You should always be able to report them to a guard. Also it'd be great if you could double cross any virtuous character you do a quest for.

Thats kind of a pansy move though. Like being a virtual narc.

But i agree, the option should be there.

Well sometimes you just think "Man this must think I'm an idiot... Oh GUAAAAAAARRD"

Everytime I try to side with the Stormcloaks with my second Nord I end up deciding against it.. In the end my Nord is a "good" man and siding with people that belittle Dark Elves among pretty much EVERYTHING else isn't a "good" thing.

I may create a Dark Elf that sides with the Storm Cloaks just to screw them over in the long run.

Mostly because I want that achievement. :p Same with the Brotherhood... They just seem a bit to "evil" for a good guy.

My Dark Elf will eventually side with the Stormcloaks, because he likes racism of all kinds.
