Speak to Aventus Aretino in Windhelm. Kill Grelod the Kind. Return to Aventus for a reward. Go to bed somewhere. You will wake up, Astrid will speak to you. Choose the good guy options and she'll say "You don't leave this shack until someone dies." That someone can be her.

Haha i did just that.

That chick told me i had to kill one of 3 people. I hulked out, turned into a wolf then promptly ate her face. It was great. Did the same thing to the rest of her clan as well. Altho now I'm sad because i kind of want to join them. Ah well.

I think they should have had some free horse armor DLC when the game launched, if only just for a laugh. Missed opportunity.

I heard you could do that, but I never would unless role playing a Paladin or something (not that I'm saying you're recommending it, just a good jumping off point to say this). In Oblivion the DB, and Thieves guild quests were the best in the game hands down, and in Skyrim they're pretty up there again. The game would feel a bit empty to me without them. I think the Mage's College is the only faction I can comfortably skip this time unless playing a Mage. Last time the Mage's guild was the only way to enchant items.

I did the opposite of the above tho. I had it narrowed down to two, but figured it could be any. So lined them up and let out an Unrelenting Force tossing everyone around like rag dolls. She called me an over achiever, lol.

Grrrrrrrr, I can't get into Haemar's Shame with Aela cause I've already finished A Daedra's Best Friend, so now the game freezes everytime it's in the loading screen.

Now I'm stuck with my wife (Aela) till a patch comes out -_-

I'm doing the Totems of Hircine quest where you have to go to Haemar's Shame. Seeing as that I've already completed A Daedra's Best Friend, this makes it that every time I attempt to load Haemar's Shame, the game freezes. I don't have any option for her to go home, so I'm stuck with her. There are currently no solutions to this problem

I only have Dawnbreaker and I don't even use it because my guy specced for maces. :/

Get the Mace of Malag Bol. Go to the abadoned house in Markarth and do that quest.
