Stana Katic and Mia Maestro already both have main roles on TV shows (Castle and The Strain). It might not put them completely out of the running for this but it seems unlikely that they'd be able to appear in both.

Although Rachel Brosnahan is on like every Netflix show and also had a recurring role on The Blacklist, so anything's possible.

Nonetheless I'm expecting the Elektra casting to be really good since the Spartacus women were really kick ass.

Stana Katic would be my first choice but I imagine it will be hard for her to do both Daredevil and Castle. I also think Eliza Dushku and Jessica Alba could work in the role. Summer Glau also has a mysterious quality and would physically be ideal for what the role would entail.

How tall is Cox? Stana is pretty tall when she wears boots/ heels.

If she meets the Punisher, she would find it weird calling him Castle.

My choice would be Mia Maestro. I think she looks very like Elektra.

Also, Tanit Phoenix auditioned for that David E Kelly WW pilot and was terrible in her audition.
