This looks like they are going for a balance of cheese and action romp (not that the two are mutually exclusive by any means...).

I don't get the antipathy for everything from some, or the nitpicks already. If anything I think people JUST want to see an over the top cheesy rehash of the Drew/Lucy/Cameron films... And I'm sorry to be the one to tell ya'll this but... Those were **** movies to begin with. We REALLY need to talk about the difference between stuff that deserves legitimate nostalgic feelings and **** that was on cable all the time when you were a kid.

As for this... The trailer looked fine but not spectacular. But... That means nothing in terms of the film itself. It doesn't look automatically bad, and in looking like it's NOT just a silly cheese fest it's already looking more interesting than the other CA films.

I've seen her sing in person, and she had thicker legs than I had imagined. A pleasant surprised. The modern Nancy Sinatra for the folks who don't bother checking out the OG. Eh.

Trailer editing aside, this actually looks like a very fun romp, which I wasn’t expecting at all.

And, I can’t believe I’m saying this, Kristen Stewart might be one of the main reasons I go see this. She actually seems to be having a really fun time, and might potentially steal the movie. Shocking, I know.

Will have to wait and see how this turns out, but fingers crossed.

Thinking about it now, a better trio would’ve been Jennifer Lawrence, ScarJo and Rihanna, with Patrick Stewart as Charlie. Sandra Bullock could’ve been Bosely to keep up with the girl power personified schtick.

This movie simply lacks starpower and doesn’t look fun. Gotta remember, the OG 70s Show wasn’t necessarily Shakespeare, it was good, well produced fun and people ate it up.

This one seems like it’s taking itself too seriously.

Yes, they were **** films. But they had personality which is why people love them. This looks like Generic Action Film: The Movie.
