Also Instagram (owned/backed by Facebook money) announced they are creating a competitor too, and have already tested with some celebs. Looks like they could link with the existing Mastodon app too.

Musk has many of Trump's qualities. Just can't keep quiet even when massively in his interest to do so. The thought of any potential internet credit from his followers is always too hard to resist.
