you know what I especially enjoy?

watching all of the trailer reaction vids on Youtube.

and what I've found remarkable, not just for this trailer, but for all of the B+B trailers, you'll see a wide demographic spread across these reaction vids. young and old. men and women. Disney buffs and comic geeks. Even some "tough looking" dudes who you wouldn't normally peg as fans of this type of film.

and yet, regardless, you'll see their faces light up with joy. you'll see the grins and smiles. you'll see them melt and cry, especially the ones with fond remembrance of the original film. and yes, that even applies to the tough looking dudes. :o

I guess, Beauty and the Beast really is a tale as old as time.......... ;)

The newest trailer is the best one we've gotten, but I'm still not excited for this. Fingers crossed it'll deliver when I get around to watching it.

Don't be that guy who keeps it from hitting $2 billion.

Gaston is gonna start a bunch of memes.

I'm not usually one to moan about CGI but the effects on beast aren't working for me, he looks incredibly fake imo, I expected better from Disney in the age where you have the likes of Hulk in Avengers and Caesar in planet of the apes.

I was somewhat disappointed with the final trailer that Beast doesn't really look any more polished. He still looks about the same. I did expect more from Disney.

Tarkin from Rogue One is my new standard for CGI characters. And I agree, the CGI of the Beast is dodgy at some places.

It's bad when cartoon Belle looks more natural than Emma Watson. :funny:

Btw, wanna get your opinion on something guys: there's a guy I know who posted a video this week saying he thinks the movie's gonna suck b/c of that one line in the new trailer at the start. I can't link the vid b/c it contains swearing, but do you think he's justified. I assume he's referring to that line about Belle at the start, but if so, I think he's off his rocker.

Ah, so a strong woman bothers him. Yeah, sounds totally justified. :funny:

Tickets went on sale Monday and Fandango is already reporting that the live-action take on the 1991 Oscar-nominated animated film is outstripping advance sales of Finding Dory at the same point in its sales cycle, a movie which opened to $135 million.

To date this week, Beauty And The Beast has been the No. 1 ticket-seller on Fandango, with the online retailer calling it “unstoppable early pre-sales, the likes of which Fandango normally sees for a superhero movie.” Already there are hundreds of sold-out showtimes nationwide, and the movie doesn’t open for another six weeks.

My theater sold out it's opening night tickets within the first day.

The Beast in the recent French version looked better than this one, and it had a fraction of the budget. That's just sad. Everything else here looks fine to me, but I can tell it's gonna take me a while to get used to the Beast when watching.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but Emma Watson just looks so out place in this. I gotta imagine there were better casting choices.
