Ending question - SPOILER!!!

I read the book and in it, Scott and the Prof die. For good!
But I remember that the ending of the X2 book was different from the ending of the film. So I was wondering, does anyone think there'll be a surprise at the end of the X3 movie and Scott and the Prof will be resurected?

The ending of the movie has a tiny 'surprise' that a blind man can see coming a mile off. It does not have anything whatsoever to do with any of the characters who have died during the course of the movie.

Cyclops is killed by Jean off-screen, and the Professor is lliterally shattered apart on screen. Jean is killed by Wolverine.

None appear again after their death, except as tombstones at the mansion. The extra scene after the credits shows one is "alive".

One of the clips on IGN has Storm and Xavier talking and u can see a set of triplets behind them...I forgot the names of those clones...the Stepford somethings?

No Gambit, Sage or Moonstar that I could see.

The only "identifiable" students I remembered were Jubilee, Siryn, and the blinking glasses-wearing kid.

I didn't notice triplets, but they did show two twin male studets.

One female student was transcribing Xavier's lecture without a pen (she ran her hand across her notebook and words appeared). Another male student was telekinetically flying paper airplanes. That's about it.

No, after the credits there is a scene in Muir Island (or at least I think so) where Moira is taking care of patient; Xavier, in a new body. I think it's the same seen early in the movie. The body I mean.
