I know this is a basically impossible, theoritcal question, but who here would be interested in seeing Eradicator as the villian in a Superman origin story? It could happen one day, but not likely!

I want Eradicator in the sequel in some capacity...

Good idea, the Eradicator would try to get Supes to rebuild Krypton on Earth by brainwashing him.

I would love to see an origin movie. Eradicator would be cool. It is a real shame we fans got stuck with Singer junk. SR is nothing compared to what can be done in movies nowadays.

I have been waiting for a new Super-Movie since I heard about Kevin Smith writing it in the 90's, ofcourse I'm glad that didn't happen 'cause of how much they would've messed it up 'cause the producer didn't want him in costume, and he'd have to fight a giant spider and all that, but, there should be a revamp movie.

The only thing I liked about SR was that I got to see the classic credits on the big screen and hear that great theme in the theater.

They can still do it, look at The Incredible Hulk. A new movie is being made to make up for Hulk.

They can make something new with Superman, and have nothing to do with SR.

They can just say, hey SR was a tribute to Donner's work but now it's time to move on and do something new and faithful, something that hasn't been done before.

Do an origin that's not like seeing the same thing over again, try not to drag it out, just do a quick recap but a new one of Krypton's demise and Kal being sent to Earth. Then move on, show Clark as a normal guy, but not a weird wimp. The suit can be more classic, closer to recent art, something like Alex ross or Dan Jurgens. Get a good actor, known or unknown as long as he's good. And someone with a good build, someone that says...SUPERMAN! Man being the key word. Someone about 30-32 years old.

Maybe a mix of the Man of Steel, and Birthright Origins. Show Lex as the evil business man, but he wouldn't be the main villian, so that it's not just Lex AGAIN. Then have him evolve into the Super villian later on, kind of like in Batman Begins, how there was no Joker till part 2, but Lex will be in it, just not as the main bad guy, but we know he's in Metropolis and he runs and owns everything, but he's the bad guy behind the scenes ya' know.

Then, the main Super Villian, would be Eradicator, or maybe Brainiac, or maybe both. I know, don't over do the bad guys.:cwink:

Anyway, If it were Brainiac I'd do the animated series version. Keeping that Krypton connection.

I like that idea.

Have a romance begin between Lois and Clark that wouldn't really go anywhere until the end of part 2, going moreso into three.

Show that there's more to Superman than just Lex and saving airplanes.

And yes, put the yellow S back on the cape, we know what it is and won't be confused, everyone knows what it is, but stupid Singer used that dumb excuse.:whatever:

It is time for Superman Begins, so to speak.

I'd call it Superman:Man of Tomorrow. It makes sense, kind of like the Superman for the here and now but also the future, something new.:super:

Yes, I have to agree, as more time passes the more I like an origin story, yet keep Routh. Chicks dig him and he looks like an ordinary guy, just like Superman. Don't blame Routh for Singer's mistakes. I would be really upset if they replaced Routh.

If anything, I would have had the Eradicator as a season long big bad on Smallville!

I agree, but I feel a reboot won't happen for at least 10 or so years..I like your ideas though.

Wait, Eradicator, as in the villain that tried to turn earth into a New Krypton... NEW KRYPTON? You know, that's not entirely different from Superman Returns. Atleast to me it seems about as similar as people think Lex's plan was to his Superman: The Movie plan.
