I recognise his face, but can't place him acting!

He certaintely looks the part!

And as for those wish Pacino, DeNiro Liotta etc... The part does not require such a HUGE star... By having a smaller actor playing the role, they can become the role rather than the role becoming their ego. (Think Nicolason in '89 and Carey as Riddler - BLAH!)

Actor Ertic Roberts is toothy Oscar winner Juila Roberts' older brother. After a stong star in hollywood in the 1980s, Roberts drifeted into cocaine addiction and a string of apperances in B-movie epics. His career is back on the up with a role in acclaimed sci-fi drama Heroes. He is filming The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, in Chicago.

- Who do you play in the new Batman?
[Asks assistant his character's name] I'm playing Sal Maroni. He's a tough guy Mafioso who wants to get rid of Batman because he's causing trouble. I seem to keep saying 'we've got to get that bat guy' all the time.

-Is it nice to play a baddies?
Yeah, it's great - they wear better clothes, the7 drive better cars and they date women with bigger bosoms. They usually die at the end, too. It's a lot of fun.
