Error Code (aka The Great PSN Easter Outage of 2011)

I can't imagine how awkward Sony's e3 conference will be if PSN is down for another month...

They're stuck between a rock and a hard place, then. Because they should make it harder, better, faster, stronger (...Daft Punk...). But, the longer this goes on the uglier it looks for Sony. Another month could mean more PS3 owners jumping ship, with good reason. The uglier it gets for them with developers, too. Mortal Kombat released with an edge for the PS3, and Portal 2 as well.

And if they don't fix this by E3...then they're entire conference is going to be them saying sorry, and about how they'll make this up to us.

I wonder if Sony would have the balls to try something like purposely keep the PSN down up until E3 & then they start their conference with saying the PSN is now back on. Followed by some Kevin Butler speech on the situation. Or they start out with the Kevin Butler Speech ending with him saying the PSN is now back on. Would Sony really make everyone wait like that ?

Sony would never purposely shut down the PSN till E3 unless they absolutely had to. It makes no busienss sense to keep the thing down bc they lose money every day it is down

Haha, I traded all my 360 games since making the switch to PS3 before the hack happened, boy was that dumb.

Honestly, don't trade your systems, I tend to rebuy games I sell... I'd hate to trade a system in then want it again.

Even with this big of an issue... at least one can play games offline...

Yeah, when Uncharted 3 and The Last Guardian (and...other fine games, I'm sure) come out, you'll wish you hadn't sold your PS3.

I would never trade in my system because of this, yeah its annoying but there are other uses for a PS3 other than online gaming.

I read anonymous was deleting any mention of the Playstation 3 hack and banning people. If that were the case they would appear very hypocritical.

Well, I already have one. But I'm not playing online with that at all. I also wouldn't re-buy all of my PS3 game for the 360.
