The New York Times reports that the Spanish police have picked up three suspects in connection with the PSN hack that brought the network down over the last month and a half.

Thanks. I just read about this and what idiots. They also targeted several Spanish banks and other big companies. Have no clue what the laws are over in Spain but I hope they fry them. The maximum prison sentence should go to each of them.

ya, but i was hoping to download the free games that are available as PSPlus member. I was able to download the themes and avatars for free, so why can't i keep the ps downloadable games that a free forever, that's dumb

So, the Welcome Package games are PS3 games. But why are the PS1/PS2 games that are avaialbe for free for PS+ members not available to us, thats bull

Because PS Plus is a premium subscription service. It's only dumb if you dont comprehend the premise behind it.

The PSP and PS3 were the best selling consoles in the 2nd quarter (April-June). So much for the hack and PSN outage affecting sales

I thought the 360 sales would peak up, since many are so obssessed with online multiplayer.

It seems the PS3 sales would be even bigger if the outage hadn't happened.

I am sure the 360 sales will pick up once the big hitters start releasing. Also remember that the Holidays will be here before we know it. So it makes sense that not a lot of people are buying right now & are waiting for the big games
