just got finished replaying link to the past so i thought i'd throw something simple together

this is a guy i've wanted to skin for ages, but never thought i had the skill. i finally bite the bullet and went for it. the face was a pain to pull off and had to have a lot of retouching and alterations of the base skin. there still some stuff i'm not 100% on, but if i dont walk away from this skin now i will over work it

skins are texture maps that cover 3D digital models. mostly sued in games. i personally skin for the pc comic book game freedom force

started this one a while ago when i did a bunch of bat villians, but only really got back in mind to finish her after rewatching her TAS episodes. i couldnt decide which outfit to put her in so i did both.

i think i prefer the civ outfit rather than the catsuit, though i'm extremly happy with how her catsuit and blouse both came out

this re-do had to be done after the whole load of crap over at ay another board when someonetook parts of my skins and used them on his own work

Back in 2004 , I did a sketch using the idea of what the character of mantenna would look like if visualised in a live action movie. the result were what follows

just over nearly 2 years later :holol:, I finally managed to drag this project out of development hell and give this guy a body.

I wanted to combine, both the horror/mystical elements from the new take along with the sci fi/technology based idea from the old. I also wanted to base him on something familiar to us so I look at a lot of insect type beings mostly stuff like the praying mantis etc. then just went nuts :sklol:

I wanted to play up the horde spy idea, but bring out a new more twisted side to him, I had the idea that the people would be scared of the horde as a whole but with mantenna there is just something creepy and strange that makes your skin crawl

this is only the pencil line work, I hope to get both inked and possibly colour, some time though the colour scheme could be fun to work with.
