The answer is: God knows everything. So surely He knows when to tell us to stop doing something harmful. Likewise, He told us to stop inbreeding just before it became a serious problem.

so then there is no moral argument against incest. God's just being practical.

So instead of forming a remotely intelligent or well thought out counterpoint, you merely fire back with sarcasm, asinine mockeries, and acting as though a lack of belief in something disproves it...a very typical route taken by those trying to debunk reglious belief.

The only reason birds and dinosaurs have a similiar skeleton structure is:

they have the same designer.

It's the same reason apes and humans are kind of similiar:

It's the same reason a lot of my paintings have the same style:

they have the same designer.

Argue the posts, if you may, but don't flame the posters.

Lets keep things civil.

Yes, click the link in my signature. It has 7 videos that show the skeletons and the skulls. It even proves the Earth is around 6 thousand years old, and that dinosaurs never went extinct.

Can't you just post picture, the vidoes there more an hour long, I'm not going to watch for an hour just see if there's a giant skeleton there. Don't you know anything about marketing, you have get someone's attention rtight away and you can't do that with an hour long video, people are just going to tune out. You are not very good at this.

Besides how can say evolution doesn't exist, when virsuses have evolved resistances to our antibiotics. That's proof evolution occurs.

uhm.. this collision happened BILLION OF YEARS AGO.. before the EARTH WAS SOLID

dear goodness

I don't buy that, because there is proof that the Earth is about 6 thousand years old.

but god could've removed the danger to us, so that we could keep interbreeding with about the same effort as warning us.

dear god. YOU are the best argument against evolution.

There are lots of stories in various cultures about a great flood.

Sure there are, but suprisingly enough there hasn't been a flood yet to couple wipe out a civilation.

Heck the only culture I've known about to come close to complete annahilation are the Aztecs and Mayans when they cought Syphlis from the conquestidors. 90% of them went bye bye.

I don't remember reading about that in the bible.

I do remember reading Revelations about an apocolypse, which has been proven to be written while Nero had set Rome on fire to build his lake, and covered it up with his craziness.

See Bible says city burning = BAD. Venom you should be a firefighter.

not only yhat, but with a wave of his hand he could fix the problem, so he is actually being kind of well...not godly I guess.

Debunk? No.

I just don't see any proof that what the bible claims is true. And those who believe it haven't convinced me.

I don't see a reason to believe in any god-claim.

Venomfang, you're probably one to believe that everything good that happens is God's will, yet everything bad is the fault of humans. Well then that must mean humans have no redeeming qualities, if they can do no good. We should all just kill ourselves. Why don't you get the ball rolling.

Ill take that as a compliment.

God can do anything, but righteous and true are His judgements. If God says something, and we disobey, why should He remove the penalty? It's our doing, and God needs to discipline us to learn to obey. If there are no consequences for disobeying, then we would just continually go against God's word.

no, that's not true, because by that logic we'd have the same skeletal structures as well, and an intelligent design would leave no vestigial organs, so, no sorry, you need to read more.

The entire thread is a flame thread because someone ate too much during thanksgiving dinner, and in a period of waiting for the food to properly digest, decided to create a thread for the sole purpose of encouraging such behavior.

The fact that you promote suicide and want me dead is proof of exactly what you are saying.

There is no good in mankind, we have fallen to sin. Only God is good, and God died for us in the cross (Jesus) for our sins.

What a nice guy!

But it's about free will. When kids are too stupid to realize they'll burn their hand if they touch stove, you let them do it and send them to Hell!:cmad:

you seriously shouldn't.
I shudder to think that there's people out there that need a creative entity so simplistic that it needs to work at kindergarten level so they can understand it.
tell you what.
next time you get sick, really sick, don't go to the doctor.
who are you to question god's will?

that's another lie. there is nothing vestigial in all of creation. tell you what, ill pay for the surgery to remove your tail bone. the text-books claim its vestigial, but without it you'll have more problems than you could imagine.

in text books, they claim that there is a vestigal organ on whales, but its actually part of thier reproductive system. evolutionists refuse to remove this from the text book, along with their other lies.

So the genocide that was the Trail of Tears, devestating the Cherokee, for manifist destiny and 400 years of the Slave trade, killing roughly 20 million and displacing thrice that, was ok because it was in the name of God. :ninja:

Common question: Isn’t it unfair to send people to Hell who have never heard about Jesus?:

People are condemned for sinning against God. Rejecting Jesus is merely one of many sins. The fact that some criminals are pardoned does not change the fact that those who are punished are getting their just consequences. Also, even though everyone in the world has not heard about Jesus and the way of salvation, God and His law are known to everyone in creation through the facts of creation (cf. Rom. 1-2). Every fact of man’s environment, including man’s own consciousness, is a God-created fact and thus revelational of God. The depth of man’s rebellion against God is seen in the fact that man is confronted with God’s revelation every moment of his existence, yet so many people still refuse to acknowledge and obey Him.

okay kids, I'm leaving now, see that counter over there with the candy bars and toys ...oh and that brand new playstation 3?
well, I know I left a television and a bunch of blue ray discs and games lying around the living room.

but don't use them while I'm gone, or I'll be super pissed.

okay, see you next month *locks door*
