as long as he's not in green spandex I agree.
Again, Uma is a good actress. B&R had a good cast, it was just the awful director and script!
I agree, generally. Uma is not my first choice for Ivy even under the best of circumstances, but if she'd wanted to, and been asked to, she could have delivered. Likewise with Arnold and Friesz. Hell, the name Victor Friesz is German, isn't it? And Arnold basically looks EXACTLY like TAS Victor. Hair's even the right color. If Arnold had been asked to play Friesz as cold and merciless, with no camp, he could have done a fine job. Just see Conan the Barbarian or Terminator for evidence of that.![]()
Lol, Schumacher called up Nolan last year and made death threats telling him if he didn't put nipples on the suit, he'd kill him and BatmanLurking about, agreeing with of you.
Schumacher must die.
He just seems to be a one-trick pony, though. I can't recall a story of his that I didn't think was ridiculous, more precisely where I didn't think HE was ridiculous. The only one that came close was that LOTDK Halloween Special by Loeb and Sale. I just do not see him as posing a real threat to Batman.Ooh, but I would love to see Tetch in a film oneday. He has a kind of inverted charisma that I think could be really fun and original.
Oh yes, I think Uma is generally excellent. I think she thought she'd "have fun" with the role of Poison Ivy and didn't really take it seriously (of course how could you the way the script was written) but she came across so phony.
I can't look at Uma Thurman for long periods of time I start to start get hives.
Her face looks...off.
He hasn't worn spandex in some time, really, and you KNOW Nolan wouldn't do that. If he does Riddler, you can probably expect a suit and tie, possibly a derby hat. I saw a bit of "Yankee Doodle Dandy" earlier and James Cagney had a suit on, with a bowtie and a derby, and you know Jimmy was a little guy, a dancer so very nimble, but kind of compact. And I swear the first thing I thought was, "Oh my GOD, it's the Riddler!"

I would put Riddler in a green polo (with a little ? where the 'guy on the horse' would normally be) and slacks. No hat. No red hair. Some Eye-liner. Make him fashionable (in my re-imagining of Riddler he is an ex-fashion mogul) and make him charismatic. Crazy. yes. Joker-like laugh and mannerisms to make even Michael Jackson flinch. No.

If you have any suggestions for good Mad hatter reading, please let me know, old bean.
I'll look into it.As good an example of Hatter's deadly potential as any was to be found in the recent Secret Six miniseries. His portrayal in Arkham Asylum is probably the most eerie to date.
Heh. Put more succinctly than I ever could. No, I sort of agree. It's all a bit "extreme" in a bit of a "New Comics" sort of fashion. I think Morrison wanted to be Alan Moore, but then realised he wasn't as bright.
Riddler is good...he can be easily reimagined by chris nolan (like scarecrow) into a really cool villainworst batman villians
ivy, vantriloquest, madhatter, frezze, riddler!
i know for sure they wont feature in nolan's films
they are too cartoony!
