The Dark Knight Exclusive TDK Set Report #2!

He didn't do a full toothy smile, more of just a smirk at our dumbfounded faces. Even still it was pretty creepy cause of the way he was sitting. The scars are not extremely over-powering, which is a relief. But yeah we are all still waiting for a full fledged smile.

Ah ok, good stuff!

I know and I don't care. Its actually a real dbag thing to do in a community like this to come in and say "yo i've got a video of the joker, but i'm not giving it to you." We don't even have one shot of the Joker, and if we were to do a poll i'm sure everyone on here would agree the thing they want the most at this point in time is a picture or video of the joker...
In a way, you're right. However, the crew knows us. They all know we were the only guys that could have gotten that video. If we post it, we lose our trust with the crew and dick them over after they we so cool to us. Sorry, it isn't worth it.

i respect you guys.
but i dont understand why would you writte on the intrnet forum that you have a video and that you wont show it.

BUSTED

noirman, why would you take other people's photos?

I wasn't trying to pass it off as mine, I found it another thread, I was just referencing. I think it's actually fake, yet shows how it looks good enough.

Yeah, while I agree it was pretty pointless (other than to possibly brag), just leave it. No matter what you see now, you're still more than a year away from the film. Besides, it's best to see Joker in his full glory by an officially released image/teaser.

No spy shot can match that.

I see, sorry, this thread is just moving quite fast!
We appreciate you guys going out and doing this, though I'm sure your appreciation has already been fulfilled. Who else can say they have seen Joker terrorizing Gotham, get smile at by the Joker, and see Two Face? As well as meeting Nolan.

It's funny you should say that. We kept talking and laughing about that on the ride home this morning. We are the luckiest bastards in Chicago. We've only gone to two sets but we have seen some amazing stuff. So I guess it's kind of understandable why people are skeptical of our reports. Hell, even I have trouble believing it at times. This is by far the coolest summer Chicago has seen in a very, very long time.

I apologize on behalf of TrueGrave for you guys. I think he just got excited in the heat of the moment. I honestly wouldn't have said anything about a video for this very reason. But read a few posts back and you'll understand why posting it would be dumb.

How accurate is this manip?

The face is almost 100% accurate. His hair is more slicked back, also it's greener.

So the hair does have elements of brown spattered about? Unevenly?

And can you elaborate more on the "lipstick"?

i understand it.

but you have to undrestand that we are like sharks. :woot:
we want the meat ........no matter what :cwink:

The hair looked dirty, his whole attire did. I don't know if that is intentional or just for this particular stunt.

But his lipstick is not as well defined in the manip above. It's more sporadic and definitely looks like a madman did it.

This is awesome. Thanks for posting this, Noirman.

how about a compromise? post a still of Joker, but crop his head off or black out his face.

I'd rather see his outfit than his face. We pretty much know what his face will look like.

Actually, his hair is almost even green, like the famous fuzzy pic of him. His lipstick doesn't come off as lipstick at all. It looked evenly placed for the most part, when I saw him it really looked like a smile and not scarring. Howver, I am nearsighted. You can take Orphan's word over mine.

I thought one of you said that it was a lot "cleaner" than the IBIHDT pic? So it is it in between the messiness of that pic, and the defined version of the manip?

...what the? Your friend just said it was messier. Daaaaammnnnn you individual perspective! :cmad: :o

And before I get flamed for asking NOT to see Joker pics, keep in mind that if we don't stop looking for them, we'll ruin the movie for ourselves.
Who wants that?

People who login to a spoiler forum. That's who.

I don't want to ruin it too much for myself either. But I'm still here, and it's my own dang fault if I get the beans spilled all over me, isnt it?

I did see the scaring, but we weren't exactly in his face either. I almost think that's the point of the make-up. As if his scars are scary and horrible, but he puts in the crazy make-up to hide it, yet make it more obvious in a different way.

I sure the scars will show up much better on film during close ups and stuff.

Then again, this was only a stunt so the make-up may not have been the best.

Dunno.

I was a little further down on lower wacker and may have inadvertantly been in one of the shots. They had all the PAs hide when the truck was driving/filming, but when they hid I went and sat on the stairs leading down. As I was fumbling to get my camera out, I heard quite a few gunshots and about 5 seconds later a GPD squad car followed by the joker truck came flying past. The joker was standing in the middle of the truck with some henchmen on either side. The whole time before and after they passed by me, gunfire was being exchanged. One henchman had a 10 gauge shotgun and the other had something much larger.

Mak is right with all of this. It was in my orignal post, something screwed it up.The RPG also takes place in this scene. I LOVE that!!

I think Noirman meant it was cleaner compared to the first official pic, but I meant it was messier than the manip.

We'll try to get ya the video of the car chase, no chance with the Joker vid. Really you can't see much in it. Grave has all the video anyway. Kiss up to him if you guys want to see it. There is alot of it to do after what some people said.

Don't forget the IBIHDT photo was really overlit and had strong shadows which made the scars more obvious. On film, and when properly lit, it won't look as gnarly.
