hamsters are always funny. feckin WB, release a shot or at leave a statement telling us how he'll look! Typo where is that full on shot?! Someone wake his ass up

He went out for the day to enjoy himself. How dare he :cmad::cwink:

Awesome work, thanks. Can't wait for the other stuff.

I SAW THE JOKER!!!!!!! My life is now Complete! I was 10 feet above him :)

Heath came to the set around 1am in a SUV and got out, streched his arms and did a little Head shake and looked right up at us. We were above him. It happened in the matter of seconds so I wasen't able to take a pic of him. He looks GREAT and very Creepy! The Purple suite however is a dark purple...I think some people thought it was bright.

BUT I was able to snap a few pics later....my buddy had a camcorder and I used my camera to take photos from his frame..(he has tons of great video but dosen't have a way to get it online from a camcorder. He knows a TV guy who is gonna try tho... might be a few days)

******SPOLIER ALERT JOKER PICS ARE COMMING********

Jokercloseup.jpg

The scenes we saw them film involved the Semi truck....the joker was inside the truck huntched down holding onto a hand-rail. The go one way on wacker and the Tumbler comes from the other direction. The camera car filmes between them. We saw this over and over a few times. I have video but you cannot see the joker in the video, all you see is the truck. So its not worth posting right now.

But I did film a small clip of Heath sitting on the stairs for a bit before he jumps off. You really can't see him too well.

But here it is anyway....

This one Image she has is a masterpiece and is a really good/clear/ closeup. SO its gonna be worth waiting.

Sorry if my pics are a little blurry and hard to see but Its the best my camera will do with No flash and nightshoot.

WOW! Nice job man! From those pics of Ledger....it sure looks like he is going to look like a sinister and creepy as f**K Joker! Nice!

Cool pics....from the future! (8/13 eh?) :cwink:

As per the white/bleached skin, wasn't it mentioned a long time ago that the only part of the Joker's body that is white/bleached is his face? I remember reading that his neck was flesh colored, as was the rest of his body I believe.

Anyway nice job man.

Well guys let's stay calm nevertheless ! After all, the future clearer pics won't be that clear !!!:woot: :D :p (I know, I'm bad but we could easily be disapointed)

Awesome. Were getting closer and closer to seeing joker. Thanks man

Re: the Joker....

The problem with a lot of these comic films is that they tend to over-explain. The audience knows going in that they're dealing with fantasy, so there's no need to point out all the little things happening to justify the events. When I go see "Star Wars," I already know I'm going to see things that are fantasy-laden, and I don't demand an explanation from Lucas on how it works.

I think Nolan understands this, and I think it's entirely possible that we just won't get ANY explanation. I think he'll leave it vague as to whether he applies the makeup or not, as to whether he was bleached or born like that or something else entirely. They didn't show Ducard/Ras enter the Lazarus Pits, but they sure as heck left it so wide open that he came off as one mysterious S.O.B.

And I think the Joker will be the same - the character has a certain amount of mystique that, if logically explained, ruins the very idea. Don't give the audience (or the other characters) any explanation and let them speculate, it's more fun that way.

The pic was taken during the bank job scene. Or day of, to be more accurate. The particular pic isn't detailed, and while we do see hints of green, you can still see brown. That, combined with Heath having no scarred smile, makes me think that his whole look isn't finished yet. Add to the fact that several set pics on the same day, show Heath with green streaks, nothing more.

I didn't say there would be no green, but so far we have no evidence to say that it's fully green either. Is that clearer?

I think that's his look before the bank robbery. I think the scarred smile happens due to Batman at the robbery/getaway.

I definitely think that's the way they'll go, seems pretty Nolan. I remember a Q+A and showing of Memento where Jonah Nolan called Chris a moron for explaining too much about the story and Leonard in answer to a question

this is WIcked
Thanks to all those who posted their spy reports
:woot:

I don’t want to start up a thing
But I can’t stand it
Those panda eyes are vexing me

Its not going to make me hate the design, he still looks pretty amazing IMO.

But those dark eyes are absolutely useless
It just makes him look more like the crow instead of joker

I think the design team on this movie needs to go back to more simple and basic elements like they did in the first flick.
The new suit looks good\but again they get carried away with the tetchiness of it, why all the cuts in the padding it serves no purpose.
The new joker looks good but they are adding things to the character design unnecessarily.
Like I’m sure they could’ve been fine with no black eye makeup at all or even a lighter shade just on his eye lids
BUt no\they have to put these weird circles all around it, and make it dark as hell.
I agree with there sense of style they are taking risks and that’s a good thing, but you don’t need to beat the audience over the head with it. I’m sure most of us get it, they want a more different violent in nature looking joker, we get that from the new smile, we don’t need the eyes. They want a more mobile batman with more evident armor, we get that! we don’t need to see bulls eyes on his knee pads and segmented armor were its not needed.

what I'm trying to say is
SSSSSIMPLIIFY MAAAAAAAAN!

Hey guys, long time reader and first time poster....had to post this cause I've been following this and Noirmans thread and seems like we have an answer to one the questions being asked..... In typomans pics we can see Mister J's hands clearly enough and they are in fact skin coloured..... No whiteness or gloves to be seen at all :(
looks like he's wearing gloves in the video to me.

I agree 100%...
It would be cool if he was just white, and we didn't see him apply it and we didn't know it was permanent. But let's say Joker gets caught in the rain, or Batman feeds him a beating... if the make-up runs off his face, we have our answer.

If it stays on his face...we also have our answer...

There's only one problem if the smile-scarring occurs DURING TDK, as Jett (and others) have said. (This also refers to Miranda/Anjow reports that talked about the zipline accident, though I'm sure they weren't sure if it was actually being done or not.)

The problem is this - if Nolan grounds it in realism, how did the scars heal that fast? The Joker photo we got on IBIHDT.com shows massive scar tissue that's been healed for a while, even years. If he gets those things during TDK, there's no way they heal up in enough time for him to apply lipstick and then go about his crime spree.

Either TDK takes place over the course of several years, or he already has them when the film opens.

Bale is excited about the possibility of better quality pics coming later today!
