Honestly, does the color of the lighting matter to how you are reacting to this?

Nope, I've warmed up to it since the SDCC trailer & it's awesome. The blue lightning makes it pop. This little snippet is easily the best live-action portrayal we've seen of the Flash's powers by FAR. He's so fast it almost looks he's teleporting. You can even see fricking sole prints burned into the ground!

No, it doesn't matter, but I think red and yellow would've been more striking.

I like the blue more every time I see it, still would've preferred a red blur or yellow lightning, but I don't have a problem with something different so long as it looks good, the blue does contrast nicely with the red. If every shot of Flash moving in this film looks as great as what we've seen so far we're gonna be in for a real treat visually.

There is the theory that it turns yellow when he goes faster. It was yellow when he went back in time in BvS.

Don't know how lightning works. But fire Blue>White>Yellow/Orange>Red with blue being the hottest and red the coldest.

It kinda seems like Barry "centers himself" before tapping into his power. Those hand movements ect.

White > Blue > Yellow > Red

So this barry has very good control over the speed force. Also for the DCEU, blue just looks better.

I love the lightning style, how it moves, how he moves. Yes, I still think if everything was exactly the same but the colour was a yellow/gold, it'd look better but so what, it looks awesome anyway.

The suit which I'm not a real fan of, looks miles better in motion, good job.

He's looking great.

Why does he have a yellow lightning symbol on his chest if it's blue? Yellow and red is his iconic look. Comic-wise a young Barry wouldn't have blue speed force when there are other guys who are faster like Wally West. It leaves no room for faster beings if he starts off with blue speed.

Maybe they'll say cool to warm colors = slow to fast. Hopefully the solo movie director will fix it.

The future Barry in BvS had yellow lightning.

Maybe the DCEU is the opposite of the comics and the CW version instead of the fastest speedsters having blue lightning they have yellow lightning.

That and the shoulders are the two parts I dislike the most. That being said I still think he looks great.

Actually... I REALLY think that's a misstep on the production team's part. And I don't think it's a nitpick. Barry as far as we know is still going to have some type of forensics job. So it makes little sense he'd go through the trouble of creating a suit to hide his identity but then leave fingerprints all over the place.

It's like in TDKR. They tell us Selina is a great burglar but she's leaving strands of her hair all over. There was a perfectly good real world reason to include the cowl/mask. Same here with Barry's suit. I hope the second one has full gloves.
