He has a better jawline than Grant Gustin and overall, a more "superhero" face. I'm sure Snyder will get him in better shape than Grant, and with the right haircut, he should be fine. But his hair color should be as natural as possible and no freaking contact lenses! We don't want another Jessica Alba Sue Storm or Brandon Routh fake "Superman eyes".

They didn't hire this actor

With the expectation he'll end up looking like Chris Evans more clean cut brother.

He has a signature look and that'll probably play a role in his Flash look. He won't look exactly the same but more Johnny Depp alternative than clean-cut boyscott other wise I doubt they would have hired him in the first place?

^^ Actually in many ocassions the actual look and the future look won't mach. Also.. they cast for the skills, charisma that the director wants for the character.

I just can't picture them giving him a generic superhero look otherwise they would have gone for another actor.

Singer's X-Men: DoFP is an excellent X-Men film; however, it's mostly the brainchild of Simon Kinberg, Mathew Vaughn and Jane Goldman. Even the lauded Quicksilver scene featuring Time in a Bottle was shot by (second unit director) Brian Smrz -- not Singer.

Well all this is good to know but DOFP still isn't a good Xmen movie. It was an entertaining movie and probably the best of the series but the characters here are so drastically different. A Bishop that needs to channel energy through a big ridicules gun? WTF?? When did that happen and why the change to his power. I hate they depowered the character and make him dependent on someone else for his ability to work and even further hamper it by him having to use some silly gun. I'm not about to get upset over FOX's Xmen

Yes it is all about Miller as Flash. Great pick. Very good casting.

I understand you. but the pic you choose is not the best thing to choose to make your argument right, characterization is great this days and while I agree they won't turn him into a completely different person, if he's indeed Barry Allen he will be changed from his actual look to look the most loyal possible to the comics and to what Snyder wants.

Yes it is all about Miller as Flash. Great pick. Very good casting.

Yes, they modified his power set to an extent, but that doesn't make it a bad Xmen movie. Such changes usually occur -- in one form or another -- whenever you adapt comic books (or other literary works) to a different medium; and Bishop wasn't a primary character anyway. If the film was mostly centered on him, I might feel differently.

As for Ezra, I'm not really familiar with Miller's work (and I'm not sure what to make of his look), but I'm cautiously optimistic. We'll see.

if i had to make a list of who's looked best, on screen, I'd say quicksilver in dofp, gustin flash, with aou quicksilver last. that's about the only thing about the trailer i didn't like. his superspeed looked boring.

Are you sure miller is 6'2?? I don't think so. Tha's awfully tall considering the pics i've seen of him next to people. At 6's he' be the tallest in most cases of things I've see him in and around people. Logan Lerman and Emma Watson aren't tall people. He wasn't towering over them. I think Miller is like 5'11, and that's also what has been said about his height. I can base his height on what I've seen of him around other actors. He's not 6'2

What exactly is the point of changing Bishop's power for the movie?????? I won't go into far but FOX and Singer just seems to make changes for no reason that helps to translate the adaption to the big screen. How freaking stereotypical to have the black guy with a gun. Bishop used the gun in the past because he was like a cop from the future but the comics has since gotten ride of that. He is powerful in his own right. Why he was watered down is beyond me.

I'm as optimistic as anyone but I use if sometimes because we do not have BvS's box office numbers. Fact is that movie has to make a certain amount. I think it will make enough but you never know, I'm not always right.

Who's that woman? Is that Tilda Swinton? Well she's supposed to be 5'11 and if that's the case then maybe Miller is 6'2? If he grew that much over the last 2 years then that's crazy.

All the manips of this guy are from straight on (mugshots, yay!), but the strength of this guy's features is the angles.

I think that's what casting people were looking at visually. Someone with less of the square-jawed everyhero look, a more slender, angular look.

The more I see him act, the more I'm intrigued by this casting.
