This is an amazing crock of ****, how this kid still sits in jail is shameful. While I think the actions of those kids are punishable in some sort, and by kids I mean all seven. I think this punishment is completely unjustified and over-the-top. Apparently Georgia law makers agreed and changed the law, naming it the Romeo and Juliet Law. Under the new law he would have received a maximum of 12 months, which means that he would be currently home or at college.

This whole thing is absolutely ****ing ridiculous.

What makes me wonder is the state of places like holland, or the scandinavian countries, where they don't criminalise this sort of thing. Age of consent is something really bloody low, but somehow their teen pregnancy rate is the lowest in the world, their STI transmission rates are also megalow and they have much better punishing and sentencing for real offenders.

I was actually disagreeing with what his sentencing. All I was saying there was that I personally think children and young teens should stay away from sex because with all those hormones they rarely think straight.

I meant that I think they should steer clear of sex, but I disagree with slapping major jail time down for it.

Maybe the law enforcers decisions are so aggregious it amazes us more than underage drinking and sexual activity, but is it really any less wrong?

1) Not responsible enough... nor should they be they are KIDS.

2) Sex parties where one girl blows 15 guys is way too much for a guy/girl pshychologically. Sexual depravity shouldn't be encouraged at such a young age. Being a **** is not cool. It may feel good, but it's not cool.

3) THEY CAN'T AFFORD IT. If you catch a disease, get pregnant, or even fall in love, someone else has to pay for all the outcomes.

4)Letting a child sit around and eat NOTHING but cookies is not a good idea... but somehow our society thinks it's acceptable that a girl takes tons of boys from the back while drunk and drugged out? Again, this may be FUN but it's not healthy.

If nobody else will say it, I will...

HEY KIDS, YOU GOT 60,70, maybe 80 YEARS TO BE A F**KED UP ADULT, DON'T BE IN SUCH A HURRY! We need to encourage kids to stay young/innocent as long as possible, you only get to do it once and when it's gone, it's REALLY gone.

One thought that I had when I heard about this case is that fairly often, the law seems to be really ****ing lenient on REAL sexual predators. To back this up, I went searching for news stories.

A 62-year-old Lyndhurst man averted a jury trial in Augusta County Circuit Court on Monday morning after pleading guilty to taking indecent liberties with three girls in March 2005 and photographing them in the nude.

Eugene Haymes of 2322 Lyndhurst Road agreed to a 10-year prison sentence in a plea deal with the Augusta County prosecutor's office.

The worst case I found was that one in Germany. The man kidnapped her. A 13 year old girl. He repeatidly sexually abused her. He threatened to kill her. For five weeks. MAXIMUM sentence he can get - 15 years. What. The. ****.

It is generally thought that the woman is always the victim. I know from my personal experience growing up that this is not so; there are almost as many female sexual predators as there are male sexual predators. The difference is that only males go to jail for it. This is interesting, since folk customs dictate that a male should persue a female at least a couple years younger than he is; a 'traditional male' is risking his reputation if he begins dating, before he is 19.

The moral of the story, boys, is to screw tradition. I figured out a long time ago that older women are the way to go.
