There seems to have been Atlanta screening, confirming what a lot of us have suspected for past months about the plot, quality and best and "worst" parts.

I'll post this in spoiler tags just incase:
There was a Fantastic Four screening last night in Atlanta. It should be ok as long as I don't get specific. It was miles better than the previous 2 and also better than Ant-Man and Ultron. Everyone has a believable scientific explanation for their powers.

In the end it, covered beneath all the played out superhero save the world beep is a story about friendship (Reed and Ben)and family (Susan and Johnny) and how the two are sometimes inseparable. Trank wasn't kidding when he said it was inspired by The Fly, because the best part of the film is the 2nd act where their lives are changed and because of that the 4 have to learn stick together and developed a bond (Reed/Ben didn't like Susan/Johnny in the 1st act). The 1st act was great too! Introducing each members giving us their childhood background story which were sweet and touching.

Aaaaaand the 3rd act reverted to an interdimensional slugfest between the F4 and Dr. Doom. Which is something u've seen in countless other superhero movies

The VFX is unpolished. Looks outdated.

The dialogue ranges from soul piercing to laugh out loud bad.

The performances were great. Toby Kebell killed it.

The cinematography and a cool blue color grading fits the film.

The film's best parts are not the action scenes but the emotional ones.

+ Another praise for Toby Kebell's Doom
+ Praise for the character interactions

The hype is becoming real! :ilv::hmr::mnm: I'm guessing critics will be harsh on the 3rd act [BLACKOUT]action slugfest, which is right because for the past years we had explosions where they all ended in massive CGI explotions, now we're having massive CGI battles, we need something new![/BLACKOUT]

Did you actually bother to read the article - or even the title? Bleeding Cool says this completely unbiased reviewer has been pumping FFINO for months on Reddit and is misidentifying himself while posting his completely unbiased review on different sites.

I'm not sure if he's a studio plant, a fanboy or just hungry for attention but probably the latter.

If it was the other way around and the men were touching her ass then there would be arson on the internet raging about sexual harassment.

Okay, even if your uncle works for Fox, what makes you think he's seen it? I have a cousin who worked at Fox around the time Origins was filming, he hadn't seen the film because he worked at Fox, not The Donner's Company or Seed Productions. I've been to parties that Alexandra Shipp has been to and have met her, doesn't mean I know her or have her phone number or anything. Plus, we all know your trolling, but if you want people to believe you, at least make it more realistic, like here's a lie people could believe:

"My cousin has a friend who interned at Genre Films and had an assistant position throughout production. He never saw a full cut, but was able to basically piece together the story from what he did see on set and what was just around. He pretty much said that the story should be appealing, but what matter is how it's put together."

That is believable. If your going to ******** people, at least do it well.

Listening to the second part of his interview with Kevin Smith, he definitely smokes weed with him. Lawd. He sounds like a nice dude.

The uncle works for Fox was someone on reddit mentioned in the Bleeding Cool article.

Dony's story is that his brother is part of the press in Israel and he goes to a lot of screenings with him. Unless he has proof there was even a screening in Israel, I'm still really hesitant but it seems a weird story to fabricate

Go through his post history or look a few pages back. He said he liked it.

I've become very skeptical of Dony's claims.

He/she offered some very vague, general comments that could be known or presumed from what we've seen (and some of those answers sounded shaky such as the claim that they get their powers early in the film while we have seen evidence that it's past the half-way point), but then didn't answer any of the much more specific questions that were posed.

Sorry Dony, but you're going to have to offer more than you have for me to not just assume you're making it up.

I haven't seen anything from anybody anywhere yet that seems to offer any real information. At this point, I would consider all of the vague reports we've seen BS (and even if they're legit, they don't offer any information so they're useless).

I doubt we'll hear anything meaningful until the end of the week.

Yeah. How dare he/she have a positive opinion? Such a total plant!

:whatever: Grow up.

Do you even take the time to read or think before posting dumb comments like this?

After Dony's original comments, I said I was giving him or her the benefit of the doubt.

It was only after Dony dodged real questions and refused to offer anything beyond those initial, vague responses that I became skeptical.

I agree, I am also skeptical of his comments on the movie.

Don't even think he has seen it yet.

Yeah. How dare he/she have a positive opinion? Such a total plant!

If Dony really has seen the movie. Dony should be able to answer any questions about. If Dony is refusing to answer simple questions about the movie. Perhaps Dony is not answering certain questions because Dony is lying about seeing it ? Its common sense to come to this conclusion. This **** happens all of the time on forums with people lying & seeking attention

Yeah. How dare he/she have a positive opinion? Such a total plant!

Not sure he said that.
But there does seem to be a pretty decisive trend of discrediting or blowing off positive reactions or news or test screening feedback, whilst really running with anything negative. I find myself wondering if all this feedback over the past few days, instead of all being positive, rather was on the other end of the spectrum, if these 'reviews' and tweets all of them, were simply that F4 was the disaster folks hoped it would be, would this exact same effort to discredit/skepticism.....'wait and see' even still occur. I suppose maybe from the supports. And this goes beyond weather these reports are infact true or not, more so the predictable behavior.
This forum will do what it do.

So you don't find it odd that someone is saying they saw the movie but will not answer specific questions ? Indicating they can not answer it because they did not see the movie ? You don't find it odd ? I guess some people will believe anything they read if it fits their agenda / own views of a movie. If they are blind enough that they cant see through some BS. You guys are no different with believing anything positive about this movie

I personally avoided reading any of his answers(though I did find the questions asked kinda funny). Not a fan of that caliber of spoilers this close to release. That being said, he seemed pretty open to answer any question asked and from what I gather he was thanked by just about everyone that he answered. Now I'm hearing he dodged things? Not sure if you appreciate just how different someone dodging things would look in this particular situation. Because I saw "specific" questions being answered, this very thing your post state he didn't do?
What questions did he 'dodge'? There def is something odd happening.

Again, I not claiming to believe anything personally. But the trends are predictable.

Been that way since the start.

So you don't find it odd that someone is saying they saw the movie but will not answer specific questions ?

No. I don't know or care if he or she has seen it but he or she obviously wouldn't want to lose his or her job for leaking information and spoilers.

If they were worried about that the best thing here is to say nothing in the first place & not look for five minutes of fame. Dony clearly said that he was not under any embargo. So why dodge certain questions ? If they are worried about their jobs. Its best saying nothing. I guess we will know next week if Dony is telling the truth or not

I'm inclined to give Dony the benefit of the doubt. I'm not sure what sort of pleasure one would derive from lying to a bunch of strangers on a message board. Although it is a little strange that he answers some questions but not others. Either way, everything he was saying didn't exactly surprise me.

I would argue that the opposite has been far more prevalent for quite some time now. Discrediting or blowing off negative reactions or news, whilst really running with anything positive.

Listening to the second part of his interview with Kevin Smith, he definitely smokes weed with him. Lawd. He sounds like a nice dude.

I've said for quite some time that I hold no malice towards Trank, I found his interview with Smith very interesting and informative. The worst I think about him is that he's only a symptom of a bigger problem with this production.

As I said the other side is no different & should look at themselves before whining about the opposite opinions of their side as they do the exact same thing if something someone says matches their own opinion. Without also seeing the movie themselves I might add

The beautiful thing is, by this time next week we will all know. Well, at least in terms of crowd reaction, reviews and BO.

I'm a little curious, why did people latched onto the changes in this movie when numerous good movies have substantially changed the source material? Hasn't it been proven by now that, while faithfulness to the source material is not bad, it is not exactly mandatory to deliver an entertaining movie?

There used to be a great big list stickied explaining this, but the short version: because *everything* has been changed, and because virtually all of the mentioned changing make no sense or are actively terrible ideas. When its easier to list the similarities than the differences, and the differences demonstrate a profound lack of understanding of the source material. . .

For the record.....

All posts of questions and answers about the movie asked of an given by dony2012 have been deleted.

I don't know if he has or hasn't actually seen the movie. In absence of absolute fact....I go by history.....and dony has in the past been put on probation for trolling forums with false info.

So take anything he said with a grain of salt.

Well, so much for that.
