I don't get why people are complaining about the filming being short. It was four months of filming, the same as GotG and Dawn/Apes. Even DOFP only filmed for five months. Filming doesn't have to be super long, especially if you're making an effects-heavy blockbuster where 80% of the film is going to be created in post-production anyway.

The length of filming isn't what's worrying. What's worrying is for all of those films you mentioned we at least knew something by this point and had seen some set pictures.

For this we know next to nothing beyond a cast of 6 people and a release date which shows lack of effort/confidence. We have seen no set pictures which indicates the whole film was shot either in a couple of sets or on green screen. And it wasn't that long ago that Kate Mara said she hadn't even seen a script which shows a rushed job.

'INO' is a valid abbreviation/acronym as well (for "In Name Only"), so yeah, it is just like them, unless you want to be pedantic about adding the 'FF' to it?

Seriously, you may not like people using the FFINO term, that's up to you, but is it really better that anyone expressing that sentiment should type the full "Fantastic Four in name only" every time, or 'Fantastic Four INO (which would be a perfectly valid usage of the INO acronym) when a simple FFINO does the exact same job just as well?

When I first got on the internet ages back and joined some message boards I wondered what was this gibberish that some users were posting?...rotflmao? What the hell was that? Even 'lol' had me a little bemused at first (though that was easy to figure out). 'Wtf' I figured out right away...

I did not however take it upon myself to chastise my fellow board dwellers for being lazy buggers by not typing everything out in full. I just looked up the ones I couldn't figure out, acquainted myself with them, and simply got used to both seeing them and using them myself.

But like I said before, its up to you. People won't stop using acronym's whatever your own preference on the matter. Once you get used to them they aint no big deal, and in my experience they are very commonplace at every message board I've ever been to. Seems a bit like pissing in the wind to get in any huff over it.

And yet Batman v Superman and Avengers 2 had footage to show. BvS has barely begun filming, and Avengers 2 had about the same percentage of footage filmed as FFINO, since they both finished in the same week.

Hell, you don't even need footage. Look how much buzz both films were able to create the previous year with just a logo (BvS) and a short teaser (AoU). It would've been beyond simplicity to make a teaser of (for example) Doom in a dark room playing chess with FF figurines.

I think it's a tad annoying to constantly call it In Name Only (I'm not happy with what we've seen so far, but I think we need to see more first). But, if you're going to say Fantastic Four in Name Only, I'd rather it take up less space. FFINO is a legitimate acronym for this forum.
