I need to start reading everything instead of just stopping halfway through. Sorry.:o

Okay I didn't know very much about F4 villains with the exception of Doom and Galactus. I've heard about the Frightful Four but didn't know very much about them. Despite that I thought they would be interesting to see in the sequel. But after reading their profile, I'm beginning to doubt that they'll appear, because Sandman is part of their team and it looks like he'll be in Spider-man 3.

They could possibley use Hydro-Man instead...although come to think of it, he's a Spidey villain too, and Sony may own the movie rights to him.

Maybe Thundra? I could see The Wizard, Trapster, Thundra, and Klaw as our Frightful Four....If they use Klaw, maybe Black Panther could also be involved....

Ooooh, Kel; If you're still taking requests, how's about The Black Panther, Thundra, and The Inhumans?
All of them aren't villains per se, but all got off on the wrong foot with the FF and trouble ensued....

Hmmm....The Inhumans would make an EXCELLENT story for a sequel. Just think of that "Romeo & Juliet" aspect between Johnny and Crystal, and their respective fueding families!

Doesn't somebody have a Black Panther movie in development?

I'd hope if they do the Frightful Four they'd have Medusa in the first variation as a lead in to the eventual inhumans storyline.

Wizard, Trapster, Medusa and Thundra would be an interesting combo.

Well, i heard the studio that had the rights to Black Panther went under, so i'm not really sure WHO exactly is in control of it these days...it's possible the rights reverted back to Marvel at that point. If thats the case, then im sure they would let Fox and Tim Story use him...

Yeah but would they want another love triangle this early?

"Love Triangle"?

Are you referring to the recent issue of Marvel Knights FF?

If so, then that doesn't nescessarily have to be included in a movie adaption (although i wouldn't mind if it was), mainly because the original FF/Panther story, as conceived by Lee & Kirby featured no such liason between Sue and T'challa...that was a new angle explored by Sacasa and is an extremely new take on the classic story.

No, no...the love triange between Vic, Sue and Reed. i don't know that i want another villain coming in that has Sue hooking up w/ another guy just as she is getting it going w/ Reed....that Marvel Knights was just a look back on her thing w/ the Black Panther wasn't it? maybe i'm wrong....won't be the first time...LOL

Can you do the mad thinker, and the impossibly man. I think that the Frightful four could use the mad thinker to challenge Reed intelligence.

Then who do you think are the villians for the sequel?

Sorry i never asked this question De...i just now saw it....honestly i'm not sure....i know that Puppet Master and Mole Man have been talked about by Story and Avi, but just because they talk about them doesn't mean those are the villains...they could just be throwing off the fans....i would LOVE to see Super Skrull, or the Frightful Four....those are my 2 choices...

Yep i can do that....probably won't be until tomorrow...maybe later on today...

Mad Thinker

Little is known about the man who calls himself the Thinker but is called the Mad Thinker by everyone else. He was a successful criminal mastermind for y ears, but the police did not even know he existed. Using all kinds of computers he could predict a likely sequence of events down to the smallest detail, and this enabled him to plot intricate crimes that were almost foolproof. He outsmarted the law at every turn until he came up against the Fantastic Four.

The Thinker devised a plan to seize control of New York City and turn NYC into an independent nation. He would rule (duh) this nation, and the country's major crime bosses would serve as both his enforcers and his ambassadors to other American cities. Only the Fantastic Four stood in his way so he arranged for the team to leave New York. Their absence meant he could take over the Baxter Building, which he did. While in the Baxter Building, the Thinker used some of Reed's research to construct an artificial creature, 15 feet tall. Made of robotic and organic parts, the android was super-strong and could mimic the physical properties of anything it touched. The F4 returned unexpectedly and defeated him.

The Thinker also developed a way of projecting his mind into an android body so he could continue his criminal activities from a prison cell.

Quasimodo was originally designed to be the Thinker's ultimate computer, Quasimodo is a robot who was given a humanlike form by the Silver Surfer. He possesses super-strength and his left eye can project bursts of concussive force.

Obsessed w/ finding a way to defeat the F4, the Thinker once became convinced that Daredevil could predict the future. The Thinker threatened to kill the Thing in order to assure Daredevil's cooperation.

Well guys i did a whole thing on the inhumans....and lost it....sooooooooooooo.....i'll do it again later....sorry.....

Annihilus

Over a thousand years ago, an alien race attempted to populate the barren worlds in alternate dimension known as the Negative Zone. They gathered living spores in canisters of power and sent a spaceship to spread the spores across their universe. The ship crashed on Arthos, a planet full of deadly volcanoes and toxic swamps. Knowing their days were numbered, the aliens released the spores, and some of these evolved into brutal monsters. One named Annihilus was an intelligent insectlike creature who was often attacked by the others.

Annihilus stumbled upon the spaceship and used the alien technology and canisters of power to build a device called the Cosmic Control Rod. The rod increased his strength and intelligence. He attacked the monsters who had threatened him and set out to conquer the rest of the Negative Zone.

Reed Richards first encountered Annihilus when he made an emergency voyage to the Negative Zone. With the birth of his son Franklin immenient, Reed learned that his wife and their baby were in great danger because the cosmic radiation that had turned Sue into the invisible Woman could kill them both. Only one element could save them, and Reed needed to go into the Negative Zone to find it. He discovered that this element powered the Cosmic Control Rod, and he had to battle Annihilus until he could siphon enough from the rod to save his wife and son. Since that day, Annihilus has hated the FF and has often tried to destroy them.

Side note: There is an F4 novel i believe that gives you a good idea of the power of Annihilus and the Rod...

Bravo!

I'd like to point out that all who want to see Franklin basically want this story told. For all those who want to see The Negative Zone, want this villain in the movie.

Just check the sig. Heh

I'm with ya! (but I'm afraid our chances our slim at best)

Hopefully we'll at least get a glimpse at the negative zone in this one as a set-up for a future film.

If there are two small bits I can put on my wish list for this film, that would give us some real hope for future films they'd be:

1. Neg Zone
2. Watcher

That would be cool, but i don't necessarily want Franklin in the sequel....i'd rather Sue be pregnant right at the end....and then when the 3rd movie comes up.....Franklin has been born....but at this point who knows....

I agree. I think they should hold off on Franklin until the 4th or 5th film. They could introduce the Negative zone though. If I remember correctly Reed knew about the Negative zone long before they had to get the cosmic control rod from Annihilus.

I also don't see a problem with switching things a bit and introducing Annihilus now, but realizing they need the cosmic control rod in some later film and going back after him then. Was the first Annihilus issue the one with Franklin? I'm not quite sure on that point, but I think it was.

But putting all that aside, there is a bit of urgency in introducing the Watcher. If they ever intend to do a Galactus storyline similar to that in the comics, the Watcher needs to be a trusted friend by that time.

The Negative Zone history could be shuffled around some as appropriate.

Just look at the villains you've posted so far. That's a lot of movies not counting repeat appearances and all the ones you haven't mentioned yet.:D

And why do they have to stop in 2012? Is that when Fox's option is up? Couldn't they extend it or (maybe even better) another studio pick it up?

LOL very true...but remember the primary 4 actors only signed a 3 movie, 4th option deal....i'm not sure about the 2012 date, as far as how its written....i just know that the movies have to be done before that year ends i believe.....ANOTHER studio??????
