I dunno if their is a thread about this but if there is someone point me in the right direction and feel free to close.

Until then, should they have the Fantasticar in the movie?

i dunno about anyone else but the idea of it in the movie verse seems kinda of cheesy, im open minded im willing to give it a chance but it needs to be done really well, cool, and interesting in order to be pulled of. Last thing i need is Fantastic Four turning into power rangers, lol Fantasticsaurs!! :( .

About the Fantasticcar specifically???? no, but why would it matter, no one else reads to see if a thread already has the discussion in it.....so go for it...lol

Yes 100% it'll be awsome to see the Fantasticar in full action!

Oooops sorry, yes go for it.......bring on the car.

ok i added a poll :p lol i kinda put the instead of they and don't know how to fix it,... oh well.

Actually it is used in the Galactus Saga, so by all means! yes!

hmm all this enthusiasm ....im starting to want to dam car!! :p

Oh I thought you were Quaker...:)

I think it will look cheesy, I don't know. I wouldn't mind if done right, but if it's not, ack...

I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want it, but I have seen people suggest they don't want it, so I'm glad you did this poll. I'm also curious to see if anyone can offer a reason why they shouldn't do it.

They particularly need it if they're going to be chasing the silver surfer. I want to standing up and punching the Surfer from it.

Absolutely...it's a necessity. These are celebrities and they need a vehicle of this style to transport them through the streets and skies of New York City.

i don't mind it in the movie, i liked it in the comic books but im worried it won't look good. I mean how the General Public will handle it, if they will think it cheesy or not. LOL CHEESY IS A BIG FACTOR HERE!!! :p.

If it doesn't look like this.....go for it....

Agreed. No flying bath tubs. This is the one time where abandoning Kirby's designs in favor of something more futuristic would be embraced--at least by me.

If done right, I don't think it would be cheesy at all. It's not that big a technological stretch. Assuming Reed is smart enough, it's a logical functional vehicle to get around NYC.

Not nearly as cheesy as a bunch of tools all designed to look like bats (for example), if you asked me.

big diff though :p

lol i dunno i mean four cars that come together and unite lol it seems so saturday morning cartoon series, i know alot of my friends will make fun of it prob. no matter how cool it looks. i have faith but im worried :D

Did I sense a bit of anti-Batman sarcasm from Mr. Lumpkin? I voted to not have the car. It's going to be hard enough coming up with a good plot including Galactus and Silver Surfer. There has already been one FF movie fluke, and a Fantasticar would only make certain of another.

Honestly I wasn't trying to be sarcastic. I was just trying to think of something that was pushing the limits and that's the first thing that came to mind.

I'd say more harm has been done to films of this genre by playing it safe than by including images/concepts/designs from the comics. Use the extreme powers, gadgets etc. but keep the characters real. I think that's the key.

So you come back with a slam to this movie....wow.

What an interesting choice words.

fluke3 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (flk)
n.

A stroke of good luck.
A chance occurrence; an accident.
Games. An accidentally good or successful stroke in billiards or pool.

Couldn't the same be said for...ahem...Batman Begins? You know...with all things considered with its prequels, box office and such. :o

The truth of the matter is, we have no idea if this film will be successful or not until we get more details and footage. To write off anything at this early point--especially because of a prop detail--is nonsensical.

Yep....*shakes head* ^^^^
