this is what they all get for continuing to make these movies, lol

The latest from TMZ, spoilered for length:

Vin Diesel got the hell out of Dodge ... minutes after wrapping his final scene in "Fast 8" ... and we've learned his feud with The Rock is NOT resolved.

Production sources tell TMZ ... Vin finished filming his scenes, with The Rock, no less, at 1 AM Wednesday and almost as soon as the director called cut Vin gathered everyone and said he was leaving. During his speech he said, "Daddy's gone" ... Vin thinks of himself as the father figure on set.

Our sources say earlier in the day, Vin confronted Rock over the disparaging comments he made about his male co-stars. Although Rock didn't name names, we know he was referring to Vin.

We're told Vin went to Rock's trailer and demanded to know why he was talking trash. The 2 spoke privately inside but we're told they did not squash their beef. One source intimately familiar with the actors tells us it's all about big egos.

As for Vin, he didn't leave anyone high and dry. We're told after shooting his last scene the studio cleared him to leave.

As for The Rock ... he shoots his last scene Thursday. The movie is a week away from being fully wrapped.

Wouldn't surprise me if both guys have their faults and are in the wrong here. It's tough when big egos clash, and both guys have big egos.

The Rock for example didn't have to put his male co-stars on blast on Instagram. Because for the ones who were doing their job and not causing trouble, since he didn't say who he was talking about, the public and the industry think he could be talking about any of the leading male cast members.

Now maybe Vin Diesel is asserting a lot of control over the project, and maybe that's upsetting The Rock.

I mean this franchise is in its 8th film now. Think about that. How often does a single film series get up to eight installments like this, plus with a lot of the same actors. Harry Potter I guess is one. MCU doesn't really count for all the separate solo franchises.

I like the Rock, but I personally feel like this whole thing was a d**k move on his part. Maybe Vin is a total a**hole to work with, I don't know. But like Vile said, the Rock's vague statement throws shade at every male actor in the film, whether it was intentional or not. Furthermore, Vin has been part of the franchise for a long time, and to my knowledge, no other actors have ever said anything bad about working with him, so it kinda just makes the Rock look like a drama queen.

It's probably all ******** that will lead to a match at Wrestlemania, god knows Vince could use all the help he can get to get some eyes on WWE.

Dramaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I still wouldnt be surprised if this is all fake to drum up buzz. I dont know why they would do it because at this point the movies sell themselves

On the other hand, there have been reports of Vin being a diva. On another hand, Rock seems to be all about positivity so it's surprising even if he did have beef that he'd air it out in public. But on a third hand...Rock doesnt put a lot on Instagram.

I know I should care in this tabloid esque crap, but this interests me

Yeah that was the weird thing when he specifically mentioned his "male co stars" it was specific but at the same time broad.

The other thing is that The Rock just cast a cloud over the whole movie. I'm sure people are going to be talking about this even up until the release. It'll probably even haunt the press tours.

And as you said it's the 8th installment and not only that each film gets bigger and bigger with stunts, budgets, salaries, and probably ego.

On another note: I know no one came out and complained about Vin before but I remember hearing that him and Paul didn't really see eye to eye all that much either

Exactly. I like DJ, The Rock, whatever, but *****e move.

Consensus seems to be that Vin's a jerk and Dwayne's a pro.

See, I lose respect for any dude that actually gets into a social media war. Not to be overtly sexist, but it's more of a chick thing to me. :o

A pro who publicly aired dirty laundry. Not as much as a pro as he should be.

It's a middle school thing to me. I've caught a lot of flack over the years for not backing my wife, or ex-girlfriend, or family, or bros when they are in a Facebook beef. My stance has always been that no one who puts themselves in a social networking feud deserves support from me. Between Dwayne and Vin, I don't care. I love 'em both as a movie fan, but neither has any credibility for taking this to the internet like this.

Not even. These days, it's strictly a Kardashian thing with the occasional Taylor Swift or Nicki Minaj drama.

In the original script for Fast Five, Dom gets his ass kicked by Hobbs, but that was changed caise "Vin doesnt like that", so it took them three days to come up with what we saw.

Is that true?

I always felt like Dom should have either lost to Hobbs, or it should have ended in a standstill.

Either way, the way it ended was dumb because the other cops would have just shot Dom once he got the upper hand and appeared to be ready to bash Hobbs' head in with a wrench.

Still love the movie though.

A childish chick thing. Grown women (and men) shouldnt do this kinda nonsense

Really?

Interesting.

Yup

Doesn't surprise me if true. The series should've stopped at 7 anyways it had the perfect ending. Paul IMO kept that series alive back when Vin didn't want to do the sequel and they should've ended it at 7.

7 made over a billion dollars. There was no way they were gonna stop making these films. Its been growing since Fast 4. Universal couldn't wait to green light the next one. Even if all these actors didn't come back they will make a lame attempt to continue until it runs on fumes.

Doubt it. I don't think the Rock will ever wrestle in the WWE ever again since he has like 1,000 movies coming up soon. Plus, Hollywood doesn't want him to wrestle anymore because the last time he wrestled (and his "match" at WM 32 does not count) he was injured.

There is 0% chance of this happening, because the studios do not want to see the Rock get seriously injured. Will he be at WrestleMania 33? Yes, but only because he headlines next year's WWE Hall of Fame. He will not have a match mainly for insurance purposes.

I find this whole F&F thing odd to be honest.

A group of street racing thugs/thieves for a few movies.

Now in the newer installments, the movies have changed 180. High unbelievable action. Both Dom and Letty are tough as nails fighters (Dom should have been crush by a highly trained, big as a truck government agent), Letty should have been flattened by Ronda's character.

I expect the next movie. "Furiously Fast" When an out of control meteor threatens to end all life on earth only one team can be called on! (sorry not you Bruce) Dom and his crew take on the challenge of going to the meteor as only they have the skills to drive the vehicles on the the meteor so the payload of (insert science mumbo jumbo) can be (insert other crap) in time.

Unknown to them Deckard Shaw's uncles, brothers, daughters, cousins, father. (Deckards uncle) has already devised a evil plan for revenge with the help of interdimensional aliens.

Can Dom and his super crew or fearless car drivers/pro fighters/super hackers over come this challenge!! bah bah bahhhhhhhh.
