Fast and Furious 6 Is A Go

Nobody cared about Drift, it. was easily the lowest grossing Fast movie. Nobody will remember which character died in it.

I agree. I didn't care for Tokyo Drift at all it is my least favorite Fast and Furious movie. But some people here like it for the street racing/ drift segments. But like I said before, I think Tokyo Drift should just be a stand alone movie.

I liked the story behind Tokyo Drift and the location and the cars, HOWEVER I see it as a stand-alone. It was kind of a "filler" film.

I view it similarly. I enjoyed the film, but I don't view it as a part of the F&F storyline.

It's chapter III. The spine of the Blu-ray tells me so.:o

Haven't you ever heard of an interquel.

Never cared for Tokyo Drift. The racing were pretty fun but man was the story overly serious.

Fast 4 referenced Han ending up in Tokyo and so did the fifth movie. In fifth movie it says he will get to Tokyo eventually.

Now Lin keeps setting up these movies as before Drift so he can keep using the Han character.

Lin's Asian so he wants to keep representing with an Asian cast member. I got no problem with that, but I do think it's funny he keeps setting these movies before Drift so he can keep Han in the story.

Just keep it as a running joke until this franchise actually ends.

never cared for Tokyo Drift, in fact i don't even own that movie. but the other 4 i do :word: Tokyo Drift for me is the X3/Spiderman 3 of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Knowing what we know now though, and how Han has been through two movies with this crew, I would think they all would have come looking for who killed him at the end of Tokyo Drift, and not just Dom.

What they should do is have a line in F&F6 where someone says "I thought you died in Tokyo?" and Han says "Just to get Hobbs off my back, but when Dom told me about this immunity deal, I figure why not get resurrected."

That way, Tokyo Drift comes after Fast Five but before Fast 6.

That's basically the gist of it. Don't they already have 7 lined up with the whole cast? It basically became a running joke in 5.

Maybe start off the movie with Dom winning that last race in Tokyo Drift and then have Han eating chips at the finish line, lol

I'm still sticking to the fact that "no on screen death = still possibly alive"

Or he just likes the Han character being that it was his creation, hell Han was in one of Lin's movies before he took on the F&F franchise.

And personally I didn't like Tokyo Drift anyway, so if it never goes back around to it it won't bother me.

Or not. Youtube the chase/racing scenes and you're good.

I personally liked Tokyo Drift. Actually better than the first two. It'd be cool, if they make a seventh one, I hope the main character from TD is in that one.

Full 3-minutue theatrical trailer tomorrow!

Do you not think you are the minority in thinking Dwayne Johnson is a terrible actor with no charisma?

I don't know why you're surprised they're trying to go bigger.

I never said he didn't have charisma. I don't know why people think having charisma makes you a good actor. I don't know how that has anything to do with quality. Johnny Knoxville, Ashton Kutcher, Sean William Scott, Nick Cannon...those guys have charisma. There are also good/great actors who just ooze charisma like Bill Murray, Robert Downey Jr, Paul Rudd just to name a few. Having charisma just means you love doing what you are doing and it shows. That's fine, I can't knock the man for loving his job. That just doesn't mean he is doing a great job.

I have seen a lot of these people in here bashing dumb movies for being dumb movies (Transformers) and they are now defending a dumb movie actor because he has charisma??? The Rock is the next Ahnold whoever said that in here. Ahnold is not a good actor at all. Again, his best movie is the one where he played an emotionless robot. The Rock is the same...his filmography is terrible.

But...back to my original point. I liked the last movie (aside from Dwayne) but this one just seems like it is jumping the shark after already jumping the shark once but coming back to it's roots to then try and prepare to hit the shark jump ramp again. It just looks outlandish. I will of course give it a shot but I have no hopes and I won't be shocked if it gets beat down by some snarky wrestling move that I would say right here if I watched wrasslin. The last movie was a genuine surprise in terms of quality for me at least. I was generally surprised given how terrible this franchise actually is.

Same, I'm not attracted to her yet...I kind of am. ****ing weird.
