Fast and Furious 6 Is A Go

I am tired of all these wrestlers getting A billed in huge summer movies and taking over franchises. Rock is an awful actor but somehow is in everything. He was the worst part of the last movie. His lines were gawdawful. I also don't like how they try these over the top silly wrestling moves in movies like Dom carrying the guy on his shoulders while Rock clothes lines him...it's just stupid to me. It's like they are trying to get more over the top each movie. Next time it's gonna have Stallone and Schwarzenegger and they will hijack a car shipment to Mars.

he is the best part because he knows in what kind of a movie he is. half naked guys driving cars and stealing money? hell yeah his lines are perfect in fast 5.

Saw the Superbowl spot and thought it was supremely awesomely over-the-top. I'll probably go see it. The part where the car came flying out of the exploding plane was the best part!

Pretty sure Dwayne was lauded by even some of the harshest critics for Fast Five. Even though I haven't seen the movie I remember reading reviews specifically pointing him out and saying how he brought a ton of spark and charisma to the role. The move itself is also rated pretty highly too...

The Rock was easily the best thing about Fast Five. He finally convincingly played a bad ass and I loved it.

The Rock is the new Arnie. Plain and simple. He's obviously not the best actor, but he's the best action movie star right now, bar none. He commands the screen every time he's in front of the camera and he's got more comic timing than most "comedians" working today.

I'm not sure what you are talking about Chase, you wont find many more people on here that have negative things to say about Rock than me, but the guy has charisma and was fine in the last film, plus in Snitch it looks like he may be testing himself a bit more without the bravado and grin to use as crutches.

Also for the record he is the only wrestler getting big roles in films and he hasn't actually been a wrestler for ten years.

It's not bad, but not great. Very energetic. But the overuse of swearing was like the gangbangers from End of Watch. It got grating.

I hate it when they do that, it dilutes the moments where it can be effective or funny.

Man I can't wait!

The spot was great. I don't really see how anyone can really bash Fast Five or Fast 6 (I mean come on did you see that Super Bowl Spot?). Sure Fast Five and Fast 6 has over the top action but come on its entertaining. You must not like having fun with movies if you hate them. And to the person saying that wrestlers are in too many big budget blockbuster movies, What movies have you been watching??? The Rock AKA Dwayne Johnson is the ONLY wrestler to break into mainstream movies. I haven't seen any other wrestlers in movies lately. Heck wrestlers haven't even been in the WWE Studio produced movies.
Anyway, the spot seems to suggest the Letty may be a villian in the movie. I am not sure..... Thats just me.

After Tokyo Drift was done, I think Justin Lin regretted killing off Han so he brought him back. Having Tokyo Drift take place after Fast 6 is just so people will stop wondering why Han is still alive lol. But I personally think that Tokyo Drift should be considered non canon at this point.

Nobody cared about Drift, it. was easily the lowest grossing Fast movie. Nobody will remember which character died in it.

If I remember correctly there was some something about the Yakuza and Han was swindling them or something to that effect.
