You know, that scene near or at the end of a comic book movie where a supporting character, somewhat speaking for the audience, offers encouragement to the hero before they face some form of evil. It's one of those often overlooked comic book movie cliches that I just can't help but love. Just wanted to see if anyone else had a favorite.

For example:

"Go get 'em, kid!" - Eddy Valentine in The Rocketeer

"Go get 'em, Matt" - Ben Urich in Daredevil

"Go get 'em, Tiger" - Mary Jane in Spider-Man 2 (I remember the first time I saw this in the theater, and people went ape*****s for that line!)

in Superman 3, little Ricky yells to a drunk beligerant evil Superman... "you'll be great again Superman! you're just in a slump!".
shortly, thereafter, Clark Kent defeats the evil Superman in the junkyard, and becomes... "great again". :)

I did. I actually cheered when MJ said that line. I remember I couldn't help myself. :applaud

MJ was great, but I actually enjoyed Urich's scene more.

Bruce Wayne: I wanted to save Gotham. I've failed.
Alfred: Why do we fall, Master Wayne? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up.
Bruce: You still haven't given up on me, have you?
Alfred: Nevah!

(Batman Begins)

Damn straight.

I think the very end of Begins alone is awesome, "I'll look into it" *jumps off building towards screen*

I can't choose between Hush and Rivens posts.

Pick mine im prettier.

For me, its gotta be in Superman Returns when Superman goes above the clouds to re-charge, and then tightens his fist and looks down towards the island, no one say anything of course, but it is a great "go get 'em" scene.

That scene near the end of Hellboy:

Meyers : "are you gonna be all right?"
Hellboy : "How big could it be?"

and then he's dragged off by the Behemoth's tentacle for the final fight. :word:

Yes!

And also the way Superman acts so badass during the bank robbery. Love the smirk he gives to that guy, like saying "it's that all you've got?" Very cool!
