Favorite MCU Avenger?

Still Iron Man by a mile. Normally War Machine would be much higher but they made him nerdy and he doesn't do much. Hemsworth nails Thor IMO. Evans is really good but he's just missing something that puts him just a notch below IM/Thor, not sure what it is. Did not like Vision at all. Scarlett Witch is the best addition to the original team.

Cap gets my vote, he has simply strenght of character. Even before he got powers he was someone to admire.
He'll jump on a grenade for you - always.

Thor. Of course since he's a favorite character from the comics but I really enjoy the MCU version of him and he's probably the character I'm the most surprised over that they managed to create as well as they have, going by my expectations before the MCU was started.

I voted for Captain America, he has always been my favorite Avenger. I've loved getting to see him on the big screen. Iron Man and The Vision would probably be my #2 and 3. Vision blew me away, such a cool character. I wasn't too interested in him leading up to the movie, but seeing him in action was really something else. Hawkeye is making a bigger impression thanks to AoU as well.

Man thats a really tough one.

I think i can safely rule out Quicksilver, Falcon, Hawkeye and Black Widow. They dont interest me much overall.

Thor is also unfortunately out, despite loving Thor as a character his films have been lame so far.

I like Captain America, Scarlet Witch and War Machine a lot. But they don't quite get the top spot either. Iron Man is always a pleasure to watch both in and out of costume, but I think he's at his best when he's interacting with other characters.

Vision and Hulk are probably the most interesting to me, at their core. Which blows my mind considering Vision has only gotten 8 minutes of screen time. Jarvis, however, lends to Vision's characterization a lot. And for that reason, I'm voting Vision.

I still love RDJ's Stark, but Chris Evans' Cap gets my vote. Growing up, Captain America was the Avengers to me, and Evans has breathed life into this idealistic, noble character. Evans has given him heart, strength, presence and particularly sincerity and humility, which is difficult to do in this cynical day and age without coming across corny.

Well he is still Marvel's biggest moneymaker out of the Avengers characters so far, the general audience still loves him. I wonder if Civil War is going to hurt the character because making him into a villainous role will push away his fans. But even if all of that happens, I think Iron Man will win back everyone after getting full redemption in Infinity War.

There's no way in hell that Feige would let the Russo's turn Tony into a villain, or even something approaching a villain. He may serve a slightly antagonistic role in the movie, but that'll be about it IMO.

In terms of main Avengers, right now it's Captain America. There was a time when I would have said Iron Man, but I've really warmed up to Steve, especially after TWS. I also have a soft spot for Thor.

As far as secondary Avengers, I might have to give it to Scarlet Witch.

Steve Rogers! call me crazy but I loved the CATFA before I thought the MCU was boring didn't liked Iron Man, Hulk, and Thor movies that much. I like them in The Avengers movies but that's it, but Cap I love his movies storyline is good, characters are good Bucky, Peggy, Howling Commandos, Sam, Natasha, and Fury villains are good Red Skull/Zola, Crossbones, and Pierce. I just love Steve Rogers, he's my favorite avenger Steggy is my number 1 ship in the MCU while Stucky is my number 1 bro ship, I'm with Cap till the end of the line.

Cap & Thor. They alone make the team now just as Iron Man & Hulk do, and I didn't feel that way during the first film. More so together, of course.

That's a good point. They were both very good, but generally overrated, blockbuster sequels.

Agree when I was little I loved watching Return of the Jedi but when I got older there was something about Empire that I loved so much I couldn't stop watching it, and I was a Captain America fan before TFA/TWS. He's the only reason why I keep watching The Avengers movies, to me he's like the Optimus Prime of the MCU.

Too hard to rank everyone else. They're all cool but just not even close to my top 2.

Iron Man - really like RDJ, but kinda getting on my nerves a bit
Black Widow - loved her in Cap 2; disappointing in AoU
Hulk - loved TIH and always like seeing him 'smash'
Falcon - liked him in Cap 2, but need to see more of him
Hawkeye - meh in TA but liked him much more in AoU
Thor - ok but his 2 films are meh
Quicksilver - liked him but not enough screentime
Vision - same as QS
War Machine - was never a big fan of him
