Favorite MCU Avenger?

I still love RDJ's Stark, but Chris Evans' Cap gets my vote. Growing up, Captain America was the Avengers to me, and Evans has breathed life into this idealistic, noble character. Evans has given him heart, strength, presence and particularly sincerity and humility, which is difficult to do in this cynical day and age without coming across corny.

The way he stood up to Fury and continued to defend his best friend despite what he'd become won this fan's heart.

The guy's humanity is enormous.

Cap is my #1 but Iron Man is #1A. I love what Evans and RDJ have done with both characters and it's why Civil War is my most anticipated movie.

RDJ was excellent in AOU, and he's what makes Iron Man 2 worth watching.

I give extra credit to Evans because he played Johnny Storm just a few years before, and he is so awesome as Cap that he makes us forget he was ever in those lame movies.

Gotta go with Captain America. From the first time Chris Evans stepped into the role I was immediately more interested in the character & that interest has steadily grown with each appearance.

It is clear Marvel created an impressive Captain America for its MCU.

Even for a Thor fan like me, I chose Captain America because he was the best in the MCU. It is a lot more easier to relate to him and understand what makes him Captain America.

There's something about Bruce Banner/Hulk never being at peace with himself that's always interesting. I wish the Avengers had brought out more incarnations of the Hulk, but I like that the MCU has highlighted Bruce's fractured psyche.

This is really hard because a lot of these characters are done really well by Marvel. However, Evans just nails Cap. So yeah, it has to be Cap. RDJ and Hemsworth do a great job as well and there is a lot of potential in the Vision. Evans is the perfect Cap.

Vision, Thor, Hulk are among my top favorites. I'd probably say Cap was the best MCU Avenger, but not necessarily my favorite. It's impossible not to love Chris Evans portrayal of the character, surpassing even the comic book version in my eyes.

Agree when I was little I loved watching Return of the Jedi but when I got older there was something about Empire that I loved so much I couldn't stop watching it, and I was a Captain America fan before TFA/TWS. He's the only reason why I keep watching The Avengers movies, to me he's like the Optimus Prime of the MCU.

When I was little I way preferred Jedi but even now I still way prefer Jedi. I enjoy it more and just think it is more coherent and a better overall film than Empire.

Thor, Chris Hemsworth's Thor he is not only a wild card but at the same time Thor he is just great in the way he uses not only that hammer but he is a God a God damn it and not to mention his movies are great especially Thor and Thor: The Dark World

Well Hulk is my favorite comic book character hands down. But none of the movies have really shown him to be like he is in the comics so this being favorite MCU character I can't choose him but at least he's getting put in better films than that abysmal AngHulk.

So I'll have to go with my 2nd favorite comic book character who actually has been done a large measure of justice in films. For me it's Iron Man.
