Favorite MCU character?

I went with the Punisher, simply because after seeing three AWFUL attempts by other studios, it was a godsend to see Marvel finally do Frank Castle right. I can't wait for his solo series. Now if only Marvel can get its hands on the Silver Surfer and bring him into the fold...

People have already said lots of my other favorites, so I'll show some love for Foggy and Coulson. When Foggy was cast, I thought he had a very annoying face. But Elden Henson is so good in the role. And the character is probably nicest in MCU.

And of course I love Coulson. Once upon a time he was like a symbol for the MCU fandom.

Since Jon Favreau is still playing Happy Hogan, I hope that Marvel's film and TV divisions stop their pissing contest and merge the two universes closer together just so we can have a scene where Happy passes Foggy on the street and they both look at each other strangely.

Went with Cap. Top 3 would probably be Cap, Ant-Man and Black Panther. Daredevil is definitely up there too and obviously really looking forward to seeing Iron Fist along with more of BP, Ant-Man and Spidey.

Just goes to show how great the MCU is when a question like this is asked and there really isn't a wrong answer.

I never thought I would do something like that: my vote goes to Captain America. Most square, lawful-good, boring comic book character imaginable.

Overall, MCU is packed with colorful and interesting characters, so even top 10 is pretty hard to compile.

I've loved Captain America ever since I saw the (awful) 1990 Captain America movie as a kid. All I ever wanted was a solid Cap movie set in WWII and the First Avenger delivered that. Now all these films later Cap is my favourite character done, partly due to bias but mostly because he's the most pure character in the MCU. His arc has been brilliant to watch throughout all these films.

Cap's definitely my favorite. I gotta say, I love Cap and I know he's popular but I'm surprised he's actually running away w the poll, even though it's still early. I figured it would be a closer race between him and Stark. I wonder if his advantage in the poll might be due to the fact that he's had one very good solo film and two top-tier solos?

Not at all surprised he's leading this. I pretty much started this thread because I wanted to solidify my theory that he was the standout character of the MCU thus far. No one can ever discount RDJ as the MCU's rock star and the man who started it all, but Chris Evans and them (Joe Johnston, Whedon, the Russo brothers, Markus and Mcfeeley, Fiege, etc) did a top notch job of making Captain America the heart of the universe. He's the best live-action superhero we have to date, in my opinion.

Marvel Studios took two characters - Captain America and Iron Man - I never particularly cared about (maybe I just didn't know them well enough?) and turned them into two of my favorite big screen heroes.

My vote goes to Captain America though, because Winter Soldier exists and because of the two I find him the easiest to empathize with. However, I reserve the right to change my opinion once we see more of Spider-Man and Captain Marvel is introduced.

Tough, I love many of the characters in the comics and in the MCU they have got them mostly spot on. 4 of my top 5 comic book characters are from Marvel and Hulk and Spiderman have been spot on so far. The other 3 are X-Men, Superman and Ghost Rider fyi.

We haven't seen enough of this Spidey yet so I will ha e to go with Hulk. Punisher and the GOTG have been awesome so far though as well and I am a big fan of those characters from the comics also.

Captain America, no question. I actually love quite a lot of the characters in the MCU, but Cap would have to be my number one if I had to pick one. Chris Evans has portrayed Steve Rogers just right, making him both very heroic and very likable. And all the writers and directors who have contributed to Cap's character in the MCU have done a great job of building him as a character and making audiences care about his journey. Well done.

My favorite character is Tony Stark(Iron man). I like his personality, though cold but at the critical moment, he is always willing to sacrifice for others. He was a smart man
