Almost every Batman movie from Burton to Nolan (except The Dark Knight) had a quick montage of Batman suiting up before going out. Which was your favorite?

Mine had to be Batman Returns when he was about to rescue the Ice Princess

Batman is great, but Batman Returns is probably my favorite because he comes out of the vault looking VERY pissed off

I LOVE the suit up in Batman. The music really makes it iconic.

You didn't specify live or animated, so I'm gonna go with the Mask of the Phantasm flashback suitup. Alfred's shocked "Oh, my God!" for the first time he sees Bruce putting on the suit is priceless.

I actually like the one in Batman Forever, I mean the first one, not the other suit montage almost at the end of the movie when the rubber butt is shown.

B89 of course.

Yep. Perectly summed up Batman in those ten seconds.

And you know what really helped it? Probably one of the greatest Bruce Wayne/Batman quotes of all time.

"But he's out there right now. And I've have to go to work."

Perfect.

Ahhh, I love that line.:up:

MASK OF THE PHANTASM is the best the music, the look on Alfred's face

Batman 89 all the way!!! BB is a close second to me though. The BR one is kinda badass, but nowhere near as good.

Batman Begins hands down.

The editing and sound effects are terrific. The *clicks* and quick cut to him flying down to the tumbler are great. The music that underscores it -the Batman theme - is exciting, preparing you for Batman going into battle.

Batman 89. You got to love the Danny Elfman score. The way his head slowly rises and you see his eyes is classic.

Yep. It's a different type of awesome than the Burton films and MOTP.

They were operatic. Begins was naturalistic; it had a real sense of urgency. Like, "I don't have time to pose with my gear on, ****'s goin' down!"

I should mention Batman Returns though.

The juxtaposition of Bruce and Selina both "suiting up" was brilliant - he in his neatly organized Cave and her frantically putting things on while driving.
